I live in a very hard water area and gave this a try because it's advertised as being good with limescale, which my current Duck gel discs are not. Unfortunately, the Domestos block isn't any better on that front. I'm in a single-person household and I already noticed some limescale forming again after about five days. It's good at everything else, though. The Ocean scent can be a bit overwhelming and fatiguing at the start. It foams up pretty well, but it seems finicky; sometimes the foam disappears quickly, other times it's still there after a couple of hours. It also doesn't change the water colour. Of course, you still have the usual problems that come with plastic rim blocks, like the single-use plastic and potential for germs etc. I'll give it 4 stars. It lasts a long time and for what it costs, it does most of what it advertises pretty well. It just failed on the main thing I needed it for.
