Sniper AR15 3/4 Helmet with Grey Stripe and Retractable Shield (Matte Black, X-Small)

Unbeatable for the price! I ride mostly around town on local roads. No highway riding for me. Most 3/4 helmets I tried on sat too high on my head. This one has a perfect fit.A few things I wasn't expecting: Mine came with a narrow peak (hat brim), both a clear and smoke visor lens, and it has a quick-release chin strap. I swapped the narrow peak with a wider one (I prefer the vintage style).As noted by another reviewer, the pads are setup well to no pinch your glasses. The retractable visor does a decent job, and comes down right to my nose. I use it at night when I am just wearing my eyeglasses to cut the wind. The optics are pretty good on the visor. Anyone that says they have an "optically perfect" PC visor is full of it. It is impossible to achieve at all but the highest price point. Of all my visors, this has the least distortion, and it is localized mostly at the extreme viewing angles (looking straight down or to the maximum periphery).Works great with goggles, too.

This is definitely my "go to" helmet for long rides. I love that pull down visor because I do not have to wear my sunglasses. The helmet fits snug and provides a good option between wearing a full face helmet or half helmet.

This is a pretty decent helmet for the price. The fit is a little weird because the inside of the helmet is more of a dome shape than the shape of an actual human head. The finish is perfect. The lease is also really good only bad thing about it is that the lease pops out super easy. Also the lense has just enough tint to be comfortable in the day but you can still see at night.

I have a cruiser, so my first helmet was the expected cruiser halfshell. After years of crosswinds trying to blow it off my head and a couple of episodes of bugs flying in my ears when I forgot my earplugs, I decided to go with a bobber. I liked the look of the Sniper, and the price was right, so I thought that I'd give it a try. I haven't been disappointed.Now I have a big, fat oval-shaped head, so I ordered the 2XL. At first I was concerned because the front of the helmet really pushed into my forehead, but after a couple of weeks now it's shaped nicely to the point that it's comfortable while still feeling secure. There is a bit of wind noise around the face shield, but - hey - you're on a bike. If wind noise bothers you, get a full-face helmet. And I'm sure that the wind is partly used for ventilation; it's been hot, but my head stays pretty cool.The only thing that I'd like to see is an option for a clear face shield. I wear progressive bifocals, so the retractable shield was a selling point for me. But on a nice morning or evening, I'd like to have the option of not having my view darkened by the shield. If it's bright, I could always put on my sunglasses under the shield.But overall, I'm very happy with the helmet.
