Awesome product
Honestly, I did not know what to expect when I bought this item. I was hoping for the best. I needed to program a new key with a chip inside. I know it would cost me over 250 to 450 to have it done for me. In this time of COVID and trying to save some money I decided I could try to do this myself. I only had 1 car key and my husband lost the other one. If we lost this 1 key we would be in for a hefty price tag to have it re keyed, so I was being Pro active to make sure we would always have a back up. I bought a key, with out knowing they have a specific chip letter on the key. I bought the wrong key first. Returned it. Than realized the chip letter. I bought the right key this time tried to sync it and it did not work. I than watched a Youtube video and it spoke about this programmer remote. I bought it. Did the You tube video again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.Honestly 10 times. I forgot to take the original key out of the ignition to program the new key. My mistake. It worked. It will work for you too. LOL! as long as you take the original key out of the ignition when the video tells you too.

Works for 2017 Toyota Highlander (with H four button key/fob)
I have a 2017 Toyota Highlander. While the instructions on the device are not that great, the device works. Actually to program the key chip, it didn't take the 2-3 mins as described on the instructions (took about 1 min). Same with the remote fob on the key, it took less then about 1 min. I think I went through the steps a couple of times (because I screwed up initially)Just read the instructions, take a picture with your phone as when it's in the OBD port, you can't read them. Watch youtube and there are similar videos using a device like this.I also used a generic 4 key/fob I got on Amazon. For the Highlander there should be a letter H on the key (check your master key-might be different)Anyways, it worked well. Instructions are bad (broken English)

Try leaving the driver’s side door open
Initially, I was very frustrated after spending an hour trying and failing to get my key programmed for my 2011 Sienna XLT. The engine immobilizer light would never come on steadily.I followed the instructions that other successful users had posted here, but did not have any luck.In desperation, I watched the “abkeys” YouTube video, again, and observed that the person in the video kept the driver’s side door open.I decided to give it one more try with the driver’s side door open. To my astonishment, the procedure was finally successful!1.) Open the driver’s door and leave it open2.) Insert the master key and rotate it to the “On” position. (Do not start the engine)3.) insert the device (with it switched to program the key transponder position) into the OBD port4.) Wait for the engine immobilizer light to come on steadily (not flashing)5.) Rotate the master key to the “off” position and remove6.) Insert the new key in the ignition, but do not rotate it7.). The engine immobilizer light will be flashing. Wait 2-3 minutes for the engine immobilizer light to stop flashing8.) Remove the new key from the ignition and the programming device from the OBD port9.) Insert the new key into the ignition and start the engine

Worked like a charm
I have a 2014 Camry SE. Ordered the key programmer and received it on 6/26/2019. I had two keys to program. Using my phone I took a pic of the instructions on both side of the tool. I first programmed the transponder in each key following the instructions and it worked with no issues. I removed the programmer from the port after programming each key's transponder. I then began to program the remote part of the keys. The first time it did not work and I realized I forgot to move the switch on the programmer. After moving the switch and following the instructions for programming the remote portion it worked like a charm. I made sure to test all the buttons on the remote and all functioned properly. The Toyota dealer wanted $215 for a (1) new key and $70 to program and cut it. I bought 2 new keys on Amazon for $43 and this device for $42. That's a savings of $485 compared to the dealership. I still have to have the keys cut. I est that should be and additional $20. I did knock off a star for the small and light instruction printing on the device.

Saves you money
Fair price, quick delivery. That being said, the instructions are horrible!!! But don’t let that scare you. As long as you have common sense and some patience. You will be able to figure out. You will save sufficient money to fill up your gas tank once or twice. Good luck.

It worked but I had to leave the door open.
I have a 2012 Camry XLE. For adding a transponder I had to leave the door open to get the security light to come on. Thanks to those that shared that info. I followed the rest of the steps and it worked for me. For adding the push button remote features I followed the steps printed on the device and it worked. Note: for adding remote features you have to use your original key to turn the ignition to the “run” position.

Programed multiple keys & fobs- terrable instructions
Programmed 3 transponder Keys (type g) and 2 fobs/remotes. Instructions are awful and wrong. Here are the key/transponder steps for my 2012 Toyota Sienna:Turn programming tool switch to transponder (key). Close drivers door. Start engine with master key. Insert programmer tool into OBDII port, 2 short beeps follow. After about 10 seconds there is a Long nearly constant beep(s) for about 5 seconds. Wait for the Anti theft light to turned solid. Then remove master key (turns engine off). Then insert new key into ignition, don’t turn the key. The anti-theft light will start flashing. After about 45 seconds the anti theft light turns off completely. Your transponder key is programmed. Remove new key (security light starts flashing because anti theft system is armed). Remove programmer. Check new key by starting engine.
