My 9 year old bonus child wants to get into fashion. She loves drawing and designing clothes for her self and her dolls. I bought this for her for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Her drawings have progressed so mich bc it showes you how to add texture to cloth and imagin how things will hang on the body. Love it so much ❤️ 💕

This is a great book! It is very informative and due to the fact it contains less than one hundred pages Carolyn wastes no time, she gives it to you “straight, no chaser “l gained a great deal of information on fashion Illustration quickly without having to read through pages and pages of content. This is a must for your fashion library. Carolyn covers how to create plaids and printed fabrics. Her method for creating beautiful hair on an ethnic model is so unique and looks as if you spent effort and time but it’s so easy! I can go on and on , but for this price , buy it and judge for yourself. The book is truly phenomenal!

If you already draw well, this gives some tips and guidelines. If you are an amateur find a different book. Overall satisfying product, but I am not great a drawing, and it assumes you can do it already.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and I'm glad I did. The book is great! Lots of wonderful information to help inspire and flow through the thought process of fashion design.

Already has helped me improve. Definitely a good book for absolute beginners like myself. It helps you grasp the basic concepts that you can build upon from there . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Teach how to draw so great book

This book is useless. It just does a very basic gloss over. It's more like a teaser "these are the things you could learn if you pick up a good book".

I love the east to understand instructions. Looking forward to try out

We were informed that our soon to be 11yr old wanted to be a fashion designer, so I took to Amazon to find a helpful book for her. She is a keen drawer and after reading many reviews we chose this one. When it arrived I was uncertain if we had made the right choice, it looked to breeze over many articles with just quick snapshots of bits. However, our Niece loved it and has found it useful, we supplied it with a scrapbook and pencils which I am now told she has already started using too. I am still not sure it will cover enough details for her but it is a good starting book and we can't wait to see what she creates in the future.
