What a great selection of filaments colours, for the price they are nice and long as well so will last well on the 3D pen. My granddaughter had one for Christmas and this has set her up really well and I’m sure will last a long while. Easy to load in to the pen and can be changed easily as well.

I got the size reccomended by the 3d pen but none of these fit. The plastic is too big and too hard so it doesn't melt and I cant use them

These filaments fit the bill! Nothing much to say except I did indeed get 30 different colours (although that may be hard to see) all nicely zipped locked, and bread tied (for freshness) and ready for use! I appreciate the variety of colours; 30 is a lot and though 10ft sounds like a lot...the crafts will have to be of a specifically size in order to use these to complete a project without running low or even out of the same colour. In retrospect, I should've gotten two packs, but if the one pack doesn't work out well, then two packs would've been a waste. That was something I fought myself on, 1 or 2 packs? I like that the PLA filaments are very bendy, not hard and brittle like others which attests to their low heat requirement. I'm looking forward to using these with my pen and suspect that they'll work out well. Any error would be user error at this point.

Ease of Use 🔧 These filaments fit the 3Doodler Start+ without issue, but only that model. The 2.5mm diameter is completely incompatible with standard 3D pens. If you don’t own a 3Doodler Start+, this won’t work for you—there’s no workaround. Feeding is smooth, and there's no sign of jamming if your pen is in good shape. Performance in Real Life ✨ The glow effect works, especially for the yellow and green filaments, which charge quickly and emit the strongest light. After even brief exposure—like 5 minutes under a flashlight—they glow brightly at first. However, the glow fades significantly within an hour regardless of how long you charge them. 🎨 The plastic color has almost no relation to the glow color. Even purple or blue pieces glow in a generic green-yellow tone. Still fun for kids, just don’t expect vivid, color-accurate effects. Notable Issues ⚠️ The filaments emit a strong, unpleasant smell when melting. While this is common with PCL plastic, this batch is worse than average. It’s not unbearable, but it’s sharp and chemical enough to be a concern—definitely use in a ventilated space. 🚫 These won’t work in any other brand of pen. Compatibility is extremely limited, and there’s no warning label on the sticks themselves. You must keep the packaging or risk confusing them with other filament types.
