Works in ROG Ally
I had a spare 2TB NVME that had a massive heat sync on it. I wanted to put it in my Ally Extreme (non-x), where I already had the 90 degree adapter to go from the 2230 to 2280 NVME.My previous 2280 (that didn't have a heat sync) had died. After stripping off the huge heat sync from my spare and putting it in the Ally, I noticed that temps were way too high. I ordered 2 different heat sync plates to try. This one, and another one that was just a solid thin plate. I was hoping to use this one because of pattern creating more surface area. But I was worried it would be too thick for the Ally. I did have to snip a small section of a support post off of the back case of the Ally, but this heat sync fit perfectly. And it took the temps down to a reasonable level. I'm very happy with it.

Heat sink does its job
Anchor method is a little weak but it gets the job done. Does a good job keeping drive cooler, wasn't hard to install. Just don't expect any instructions there aren't any, lol.

Heatsink seems to work well in a gaming laptop
I used this when I upgraded the M.2 SSD in an HP Victus gaming laptop. The stock SSD didn't have any heatsink on it, so I figured anything is better than nothing. I purchased the thinnest one to give it the most clearance in the laptop. This got quite warm under load, so I guess it is doing what it was meant to do. I wasn't crazy about the rubber band mounting system, but that seems to be the only option here. Overall, I'm completely satisfied.

Great Heat Sink for Tight Spaces - And it looks good, too!
The cramped space for my 4TB Crucial NVMe beneath the MB and overheating of the drive made the 2mm heatsink the perfect solution. Temps dropped 8 degrees, and the drive does not overheat under stress testing and is cool in normal use. The rubber band mounting and the thin but very effective thermal pads make installation easy. It is a perfect fit and the copper looks great.

Good, check size needs.
This works well but unfortunately still won't fit in a tight fitting ultra book (Samsung Galaxy Book 4 pro).I still used the pads though, and might look into a graphene strip instead.I was able to repurpose this unit onto a pcie NVMe card are thermals are rock solid.

Looks good, does it’s job.
Looks good. The adhesive on the pad was not good, but it also come with about 5 clear bands to hold it fast to the SSD.Here it is installed on the RayCue Mac Mini M4 docking station.

Heatsink is good
The heat sink is good. The adhesive is… well is it even adhesive at all? Because it doesn’t stick at all.
