I moved to Israel which there the power is 220v and I'm using a few of the 500w for over a year for many things I took from America, like food processor, printer, TV, compact disc, drill charger.. all those are working for 120v only and works perfect with the adapter.

I bought this for my Europe trip. My wife’s hair blower and etc are on 120V. I browsed many transformers. Most only works for electronics. This one works well with hair blowers and so on. Works great!

Took it to Pakistan where it's 230volts. It worked well while using flatteners & curlers, however using it with a hair dryer made it over heat every time after a few minutes of use. But not with curlers & flatteners. So we would stop using and let it rest and start again. So overall it did do its job as described in product description.

I bought this with some doubt, it turns out that it is really good. It is a very solid transformer, I am using to power 110 volts device with less than 200 W, my devices runs hot after sometime but this transformer is cool like nothing happening. Great transformer.

Used for travel, easy to use and do not take a lot of space in the bag. REMEMBER you need to check your watts on your electric technology and multiple by 3 to use it. Example hairdryer usually take 1800 watts multiple by 3 = 5400 watts, so for hairdryer you need get around 6000 watts Voltage Converter. Edited: Using in Russia for almost 3 years to charge Dyson V8 Animal Extra cordless vacuum cleaner, for small coffee grinder every morning and other devices. No problem.

I have been using another model 1500w for a 2.5 years. Sometimes it worked for 10-12 hours per day during several weeks and still everything is fine. So based on this good experience I bought this 500w model for less power consuming tasks.

Purchased it to be able to operate my 110 V Breville hand mixer (230 W) in Europe where AC voltage is 230 V. The machine would run for 2 seconds and then stop. Altough LCD screen on mixer kept showing display but the beaters won't whip for more than 2 seconds. Very disappointed although I'm not using more than half of rated output.

If you have electronic/electric products that require 110/120 V supply voltage to run (say like a cordless phone or a dryer/blower that have a power rating under 400 watts, then this step down voltage converter is most ideal. Build quality and performance is top notch and is also priced okay. Do not buy this product if the wattage rating of your product is high as is the case with most kitchen gadgets. In that case you might want to get a servo stabiliser that delivers a steady120V output even if the grid voltage varies from 170 to 280 volts. Hope that helps.

Item is super heavy and is not as the description reads. Description on Amazon says it’s for hair dryers and flat irons. The box has a warning that says NOT for hair dryers or flat irons

I was using it for a facial steamer for which the power is 400 W. First two times all went well. Third tine it stopped after usage of few minutes. Possible to send a replacement one ?
