Papoutsanis Pure Greek Olive Oil Soap 6 PACK of 8.8 Oz (250g) Bars

I LOVE this soap! Been using it off and on for years and it's perfect. I chose it because of the all natural simple ingredients and good value, but I have stuck with it because of its mild pleasant scent (not too sweet, not too musky), it being moisturizing without being oily my acne prone skin loves it), the fact that it doesn't disintegrate too fast, and it being easy to grip. That said, I would prefer it if the bars weren't so huge. I cut mine in half widthwise, leaving a sort of cube shape that fills your hand, but it shreds a bit when I do that, causing some waste, and the shape is still not ideal because it's too tall. When I try splitting it across the side, it completely falls apart. Overall, I believe it is a great product and hope they keep making it forever!

I love this soap. It is wholly natural, being made from a 19th century recipe based on olive oil. To the best of my knowledge there are no chemical hardeners, dyes, perfumes, or anything else in this. It has an earthy, natural smell and is gentle on your skin. It doesn't lather much, just enough, but you'll feel clean and refreshed after using it.

I can’t use regular store bought dish soap anymore due to all the additives & allergens normally found in them. I already use olive castille bar soap to clean my body and hair so I figured I could research whether I could use or go clean and do dishes as well. Turns out you can. These bars are very well-cured & hard so they last a while without melting into a blob even if I’m not hyper vigilant on keeping them dry. Works great for washing dishes & hands. It smells earthy & just like fresh olives to me. The bars are an olive green color naturally which means this is made from really good quality likely virgin olive oil. It is incredibly inexpensive in comparison to what I was paying before ($13 for a Mamasuds dish bar) & these bars are HUGE. 8 oz each. I will keep these in rotation. Very grateful I found these at such a great price!

I used to use Korres bar olive oil soap for my face but I cannot find it anywhere now. I searched for something comparable and found this Greek olive oil soap. So glad I decided to buy it as it is just as good as the Korres bar soap. I still use Korres olive oil bath gel and their other oils but I wanted an olive oil bar soap just for my face. This bar soap is awesome. Lathers up so easily, cleanses well, and is very moisturizing. And 6 bars, too! Fantastic deal. I never want to be without this soap.

I've used this soap exclusively for at least a decade. This is all I need from a bar soap. It's a mild, unscented, natural soap. I use it as a body soap, a hand soup, and I shampoo with it. It has a somewhat strong scent that does NOT follow you around since it's the natural smell of the soap and not an added perfume. I strongly dislike artificial perfumes which is one of the reasons I chose this soap. I consider myself very lucky to be able to get this soap at this price. I don't know what I'll do if the day comes that I can't get this soap anymore. Do NOT let the soap sit in a puddle or it will melt. I use the dollar store soap savers to keep it high and dry. We LOVE this soap. It leaves your skin feeling clean, moisturized, and not greasy. The smell is very light and pleasant. The bars are HUGE and last a really long time. They don't lather a lot, but that is an indicator these don't have a bunch of chemicals in it. Definitely our favorite soap.

This soap does not lather as much as a synthetic detergent bar or a soap with palm or coconut oil, but it still does the job. It’s less drying than most, and does not irritate my sensitive skin. I find the scent of olive oil soap pleasant, but if it bothers you you can take the soap out of the box and let it air out on your porch for a day or so and its natural scent will dissipate. I have not found this brand to have a strong odor, though. These bars last a long time, but they will get mushy if left in water, so it helps to place them on some kind of soap saver or dish with drainage.

Love this soap! Extra large bar is long-lasting, and the price is terrific for 8.8 oz compared to other soaps. Being olive oil based leaves skin moisturized even in winter months. We've been using only this soap for a few years now...highly recommend!

I purchased this thinking it was just olive oil and nothing else, like other brands I have purchased from Amazon. But its ingredient list is vast.
