Parafilm M JX903 Parafilm Grafting Tape, 90' Roll Clear, 1/2" Tape

This worked really well. It is a bit stiffer than buddy tape, but also cracks off sooner as the graft grows and expands, which I think is a good thing

We have a small orchard, only 25 trees, and there are two kinds of apples, out of the 6 variety’s we have, that we really love. Enter the fun science of grafting. I’ve found that successful grafting requires some good, proven techniques and materials. This paraffin wrap works. It just does. It holds tight on the bud graft, it is waterproof, it stretches and conforms to irregularities on the branch your grating to and sticks to itself when you tear or cut it. Can’t go wrong. This tape is stretchy but has very low tensile strength and no stickiness to it at all. I'm using it to wrap around petri dishes and it does work, but not as well as tape made for petri dishes. This is grafting tape and will do fine for grafting.

This is not tape. This is thin and while many use it for plant grafting, I used it to temporarily seal my petri dishes. It's essentially high quality thicker saran wrap, it sticks to itself well while using no adhesive. This makes for clean and easy removal, plus it stretches so you can easily determine the amount of force you want on the objects you are mending together.

Parafine is the best for Grafting Fruit Trees and Rootstock. I use 1/2 inch smaler grafts and 1 inch for multiple grafts on the same branch.

This is fine but I’ll never order it again. It doesn’t stretch very much before snapping, it doesn’t stick to the Petri dish well and it doesn’t even stick to itself very well. Pretty disappointed.

works well. Expected a waxy tape but instead it was kind of like a plastic film. It doesnt stretch alot but so far, the grafting tape seems to be work fine for the number of grafts dones....about 6

I bought this for grafting apple and crabapple trees and it worked as well as can be expected. It was a very windy summer and this tape held all grafts together with no failures. Pros - Flexible and stretchy enough to do the job. - Held all grafts in place with winds up to 100 kph. - Didn't require extra string or sealants to hold the grafts. Cons - Seems like it could be a little tackier, but still held well once pressed together. - Price is very steep for what it is.

It works well for propagation

Too expensive for so little tape, but this is in fact real Parafilm, not garbage saran wrap which is useless for grafting. This tape stretches and molds itself to conform to surfaces and forms a tight seal, and doesn't peel off of itself where it is wrapped over itself.

I collect vintage perfumes. Most of these are splash bottles, meaning they have a glass stopper instead of a sprayer. I was looking for something to seal them with to prevent evaporation over time. My friends in the online fragrance community suggested Parafilm M, lab-grade. This stuff is super cool. Your hands heat up the parafilm as you stretch it around the neck of the bottle, creating a wax seal. I love it! I have a huge roll now that will last me forever. Great price too. I've seen it on here for a lot more money.
