How long after my tattoo is inked should I use the Aftercare Cream?

Straight after getting a new tattoo. Once you’ve washed your tattoo for the first time, gently apply a small amount of Aftercare Cream to the area. Use 2-3x daily for the first 14 days and 1-2x daily for 28 days, even if it appears fully healed.

How much Aftercare Cream should I use?

Use a small amount spread thinly over your new tattoo. It's about finding the right balance: too much moisture can cause bubbling and moisture spotting, while too dry will result in itchy and irritable scabbing.

What makes this Stories & Ink Tattoo Aftercare Cream better than using a regular moisturiser?

It is specifically designed for tattoo healing, unlike regular moisturizers. It soothes irritation, reduces inflammation, and helps prevent infections, promoting faster healing while preserving the tattoo’s color and detail.

Is the Aftercare Cream suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, this product is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin, including people with skin conditions such as dermatitis.

Is this product nut-free?

Yes, it is free from tree nut oils. It contains coconut oil as well as Raspberry Black Currant Seed Oils. The production facility handles nut-derived ingredients but ensures no cross contamination via thorough cleaning procedures.
