When I removed this microscope from its packing, my first impression was of a satisfying weight. On inspection, it appeared to be well engineered and finished to a high standard. The rack and pinion for rise and fall has very fine tolerance. Being my first stereo microscope,it took me a while to set up the eyepiece spacing, but once done it gave excellent optical results. I am well pleased with this microscope.

This is a great Stereo Microscope which offers good build quality and sharp optics with a nice range of low power Magnifcation and the bonus of illumination from the top and bottom . Really happy with this. It opens up a new level to my amateur microscopy. Now able to view larger objects an lower magnifications. Clear optics although lighting could be a bit better

20X is good.40X is not as good as I expected. But for this price I'm not complaining. Aligning samples at 40X is a bit tricky. So would like to buy additional stage plates so as to adapt them for an XY stage. Or better still an XY stage that fits the existing setup.

Fantastic! Very easy to use, easy to focus and easy to change the different magnifications. The lights are very effective both from above and below and the different base plates allow for a variety of different uses and applications. I cannot imagine finding another microscope of this quality at such a competative price.

Be warned that this product does not come with a UK plug.
