For the most part I’ve been happy using foam plates , spritzing than covering with plastic wrap or another foam plate to store and keep my paint moist until my next painting session. I’ve been intrigued by the use of glass, gray based as a pallet. After researching what was available I found a size 16” x 20”, average price $35ish. Nice size to lay out multiple colors of paint and plenty of room to mix. I then ran across this setup, they advice to use with oil paint and suggest using their product that utilizes pallet paper to keep acrylic paint from drying out. I thought there should be no reason this shouldn’t work for acrylic paint as well. Not wanting to spend money replenishing pallet paper. Happy to report it successfully kept acrylic paint moist for at least 3 weeks (that’s when I opened it next), life kept me from painting. All I did was mist the pallet of paint with a water mister and set a 2x2 inch damp sponge on the glass, made sure it was completely sealed, paint was as fresh as when I first added it. I will forewarn you the cover is a VERY tight fit, similar to Tupperware, but much tighter. A two handed job to make sure cover is completely sealed. Manufacturer states it gets easier with us, I hope. I thought long and hard before I made this purchase. I’m very happy I bit the bullet and did. I expect it to last a very long time, provided I don’t break the glass. BTW, so easy to clean, you’ll be able peel any thick dried paint off, a little water rinses the light paint left or wipe off with paper toweling and water.
