Heavy, built like a tank.
This barebones keyboard is solid and heavy, I've always bought keyboards with everything included already, so this is a learning lesson for me, included is a card with all the keycap locations on.Out of the box the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was, the paint job looks good and has a textured feel, has four round rubber feet, two large and two small, there is no angle adjustment. The round dial at the top right is were you can control the many lighting modes, brightness and can also be used as volume control using the mode button in the centre of the dial, you can also control the brightness with the FN and arrows keys.Good quality coiled USB C cable included, some metal looking stickers, the one with the three holes goes over the number, win lock indicator lights.I done a bit of research and purchased some switches, they were EPOMAKER KTT Baby Series Mechanical Switches white, two packs, they pressed in quite easily, if one ever stopped working it would be easy to take out, I mention this because some keyboards I've had in the past were Hot Swappable but were really hard to take out the switch, this one is easy, playing games and typing the presses feel great with what I read the sound is an Iconic Creamy Sound what ever that means.I had some white pudding keycaps hanging around and put them on, really lets the lights shine through, probably a little too bright. If you like a heavy keyboard that wont move around, good feel and sound with your choice of switches this could be for you.

A good quality mechanical keyboard base unit
This is a barebones kit so some keyboard switches (cherry mx style) and some keycaps (cherry mx style) are needed. There is a card in the box illustrating where all the keycaps should be placed. No disassembly of the keyboard base is required. The build quality of the unit is really quite good. It's a metal base so has a bit of weight to it. The paint finish has a slight texture to it and is really nice. To finish the "build" three small metal badges are include which can be placed where you want. These are really nice and provide a professional finish. A coiled USB cable is included which is a really nice addition as these can be costly. The design of rotary dial for me was a bit cheap looking. Its works fine and has two modes. One controls the backlighting and the other is volume control. The included manual I found to be a bit confusing to read and was a bit on the small side. The keyboard can be configured for PC/MAC/Android using key combinations and allows the keyboard to work as expected on each respective system. If you happen to miss it in the manual the "mode" button is the centre of the rotary dial.I tested the keyboard using some switches and keycaps I had and "soundwise" its very good. I think "marbly" is the term to describe it or hitting two mid-sized stones together. If you have never used a mechanical keyboard before are want to see what the fuss is about you won't be disappointed. The switches are easy to insert into the board. The LED backlight has numerous modes and settings and these are easy to changed either using the dial of keyboard shortcuts. There is additional soft available from etc manufacturer that further allows you to customise how the keyboard operates such as programming macros etc.Overall a good base unit that provides quite a lot in terms of functionality and features.

Still toying around but it's fun to do
Still experimenting and messing around moving keys about and hinges but it's a good task and sitting with my son teaching him how to do it is a good bonding and potentially valuable learning experience. End product was good before we started again.

Brilliant keyboard.
Epomaker x Leobog Hi75 barebones keyboard. This was on sale for £75.99 when I got it. I spent £40 buying switches and keyboard caps to fit into the keyboard, as this is a barebones keyboard, you only get two switches and no keycaps with it.It’s a solid piece of engineering, made from CNC’d aluminium, it has quite a considerable weight to it, which I think is a good thing, as it won’t slide around on your desk and does not feel flimsy in the least. The switches and keycaps were easy enough to install, then insert the coiled USB C cable and plug it in. Can hardly believe how bright the lighting is on the keyboard, but again, I think that that is a good thing, you can always turn it down if you want to.The manual supplied is very small. You need to access the Epomaker website to find the driver and software you need to get the best from it.It’s great.

Good kit but screws incredibly weak
This kit is quite good, especially for the price, providing a range of customisation and personality available for this keyboard. The gasket mounted design allows for flex if you remove some of the foam, or a very muted sound profile should you keep it in, the foam helps alleviate some of the ping you would experience with similar metal keyboards. I'm a big fan of the volume knob. The aluminum case provides the keyboard with a bit of heft which is enjoyable in a keyboard.Obviously needs keycaps and switches, that's what purchasing a kit is all about, this kit allows you to choose those out for yourself without having to pay the price for the default options providing more choice.Overall, it is a good kit, if only for one glaring issue. The screws on this kit are incredibly soft and prone to stripping. of the 6 screws 4 of them stripped, one so badly that taking it out by conventional methods just does not work, requiring a stripped screw removal kit. If you are a keyboard enthusiast and plan on modifying this kit beyond simply adding keycaps and switches, be sure to be incredibly careful and delicate with the screws.

Chequen los tornillos
La presentación es increíble PERO de todos los tornillos para retirar la carcasa 1 estaba barrido y fue imposible abrir la carcasa sin romperlo, todo lo demás esta perfecto

Quality keyboard for price.
This is my first custom keyboard setup, previously coming from preset gaming keyboards like the Razer Blackwidow. Keyboard was all ready to add switches in, with switches and keycaps it took about 15-20 minutes to setup everything. Using Akko V3 Piano Pro switches, with this keyboard and keycaps amazing sound and feel. If you don't need a numpad or many macros this is a perfect sized keyboard, overall quality feel to the board and I'm genuinely surprised at the weight, it's heavier than my full 100% blackwidow by a decent bit, which I do like a lot. This was setup today so early on in use, but perfect for entry level board users who don't need to do heavy modifications to their board.

Great keyboard for the money! Beware “Creamy Pink” is more of a nude tone.
[Updated]I now own four of these Hi75 keyboards (purple, green, white and creamy pink). All four keyboards worked with zero issues out of the box, other than needing to be switched into windows mode (see command instructions at end of review). This, and the Epomaker Feker Galaxy 80, wired edition (TKL, no knob; I own in blue and “white” - which is actually a creamy beige), are currently my favorites for super affordable, aluminum case, gasket mount, hotswap, barebone kits. They both just sound, feel and look so amazing for the cost.I’m updating my review to specifically caution that the “creamy pink” option is a bit of an odd color. Turns out it’s less pink, or even peachy pink (which is how the listing photos looked on my monitor; the big selling point for me), and more nude. Ymmv, but note the included photo is of the keyboard in indoor, natural lighting. To my tastes, all of my peachy-pink or orangey keycap sets were too orange against the neutral color of this keyboard, and all the truly pink-toned keycap sets were too pink, out of a dozen different sets in my collection. Given the reason I BUY the same keyboard, in multiple colors, is to coordinate with my various, non-monochrome keycap sets, this was an unhappy discovery.Luckily, what ultimately worked beautifully, with a big caveat, is the ASA-low profile, 155 key, Akko Black & Pink set, which is a uniform, doubleshot PBT set influenced by the nicer, but MUCH pricier, SA Bliss. The caveat (ymmv) is that the Akko set’s “pink” modifier and novelty keycaps were too peachy pink against the neutral nude of the keyboard. To me, it just looked BAD. Thankfully, the color LOOKS like a gorgeous match when viewed as legends within the black and charcoal keycaps. As seen in the photo, I also swapped the translucent red knob insert for a (not included) opaque black one, which I already had on hand. So, I’m ultimately very happy, but the Hi75 in this color was almost a return.—————-Original Review:This is a terrific budget keyboard. Heavy aluminum alloy frame (albeit not anodized), comfortable gasket mount, hotswap, NKRO, RGB, decent stabilizers, media knob, GREAT sound (didn't matter what switch I used, they all sounded fantastic - linear switches have offered a very creamy and marbly sound), programmability (via proprietary software), and it comes in several awesome colors! I do feel that the gray, coiled USB cable it comes with is underwhelming, especially since the coil is deformed from the box it’s stored inside, but I prefer to swap out the USB cables, regardless. If you’re thinking the Hi75 being "only" wired is a drawback, consider the fact that lithium-ion batteries don't ONLY stop working eventually, the way older types of batteries did. Instead, they can and DO swell (aka go "spicy pillow") and even explode (note: water will dangerously exacerbate a lithium-ion fire; a Class D fire extinguisher is recommended). There is software for this keyboard. I downloaded the software from the WhatGeek website, but haven't tinkered with it yet. Most users won't need to touch their keyboard settings, but it's there if you need it.I would say the only cons to this keyboard are (1) it will require more care vs. one with an anodized finish to avoid chipping the paint, (2) the odd choice of a red shine-through plastic top on the media knob, regardless of the color of the keyboard you choose, and (3) you need to use extra care when inserting switches, due to all the foam, and the flex cuts in the gasket mounted PC plate. Some people would cite lack of VIA compatibility as an issue, but I find it awkward to use, and tend not to fuss with layout, so I don't care. After assembly, while still returnable to Amazon, DO go to a keyboard tester website to make sure all the keys work. Assume “dead” keys are merely a bent switch pin before you panic about getting a "bad" keyboard. You can usually straighten a bent switch pin with tweezers, and if not, just use another switch.IMPORTANT: Keyboards are NOT in windows mode out of the box. I had to tinker to get it to swap. Fn + W puts you in Windows mode, and the bottom LED indicator will turn on, but if the Win key is STILL not working, press Fn + Left Win key, and you should be all set.As for the red media knob, thankfully, you can buy compatible replacements for that center plastic part (opaque white, opaque black, clear, or transparent pale pink, either individually, or as a full set), but be prepared for a wait, since they ship from China. Just Google "Hi75 Knob". I bought mine on Ebay, since they had the cheapest price at the time, but Aliexpress is another source. [Update: A seller on Aliexpress also offers fancier/decorated options for the knob insert, at a higher cost].

Uno de los mejores kits para empezar
🙋Hola!
