Exactly what I wanted
We have a mail slot in our garage, so mail was dropping onto a dirty garage floor. I wanted to build something to catch the mail, but I realized that I could probably find something much more simple to install. This item is almost exactly what I needed.Pros:This item is well built out of strong material. The quality zipper lets me easily open the catcher to retrieve mail. The built-in window allows me to easily see when mail has arrived. No more dirty mail!Cons:The back sits against the mail slot, so it may interfere with the mail delivery. The cons aren't enough to remove a star. I'm extremely satisfied with the value of this item.

Well made, does the job, kinda
Had been looking for something to block our mail slot from drafts and stop the mail from dropping on the floor. This pouch is well constructed and the supplied Velcro strips successfully adhered it to our plaster wall. It’s a little too large for our needs which isn’t the issue. The issue is due to the material being thick and heavy, and the way it lays flat against the wall, which makes the mail get stuck in between the mail slot and the upper part of the pouch. So unless your postman pushes the mail all the way through the slot, it’s going to get stuck inbetween. Not a deal killer, but if the design had a slight bump built in, it might allow the mail to drop smoothly into the pouch.
