Cobra CPI 1575 Professional 1500 Watt Power Inverter

I can't say enough good about Cobra products. As an over the road trucker i have bought nothing but Cobra products, i never had one fail, when they got old i sold them and bought a newer version especially their CB's. This inverter i am sure will be no exception, it has the classic style of Cobra designs, pleasing to the eye and yet very rugged looking. I installed this unit in my RV and it puts out what the specs say it will put out. I like that it shuts down and doesn't just sit there completely draining your battery. It also has an audible alarm that lets you know the battery is getting close to the point when the unit will shut down. So again I say "if it says Cobra on it, I buy it with confidence".

This unit was very easy to use and has been working very well with my equipment. I love the fact that it states what wattage is being used by my deep freezer and the cycling the deep freeezer is going through.. when the wattage changes whether it is higher like 115 or lower like 90 I know exactly what my freezer is doing so thank you to whom ever created this product and the real test will come in time to show how long it will last hopefully atleast 3 years...

I Bought this for my big truck and use it everyday for heating things in a 700 watt microwave and run chargers and a large fan....Works fine for all....but the only thing is the fan doesn't run at all ...until it runs....then its a 747 taking off....pretty loud...but it is a good product at a good price. I would buy again

This was the most powerful unit I could find for anywhere near this reasonable of a price. It is big enough to power a microwave at the same time as some miscellaneous things like a laptop computer. The only mistake I made at first was that I did not realize that this comes as a bare-bones unit. For complete installation, what is also needed are the heavy-duty power cables, a fuse holder, and a fuse. Fortunately, I was able to purchase that on Amazon.com and, thanks to Amazon Prime, was able to get the forgotten items on time to make the installation date I had set up.

This the best little toy I have ever purchased. I bought this to hook up to my truck and do yard work. I am not able to pull start chain saws and weed whackers and any thing with a gasoline engine, so I just drive the truck around (very large piece of property) and plug in an electric chain saw or weed eater or hedge trimmer and go to work, this unit will handle up to 2 hp without over heating and will go as long as theres gas in the truck. I LOVE IT.

Voltmeter auto safety features. Buyer must fabricate cables of a gusher a little difficult to find

Have to have truck running to use coffee maker but otherwise works well

I very happy with this inverter. The first thing I tried was running an electric coffee maker, I knew that would draw a lot of amperage. It worked flawlessly and the fan didn’t even trigger on the unit. I love the display also, 510watts is what the maker draws. Looking forward to plenty of use in my rv.

It's okay.but you do have to idle your truck to run it.

Loved it price is way cheaper than what truck dealer was offering.

I ordered a 3000w inverter not a 1500w. If that was the case I would have paid a lot less.

Delivered on time BUT advertised as 3000 watt inverter when its only a 1500, the surge rating is not how inverter size is rated.
