Almost Perfect
So Iโve changed my rating from 4 stars to 5. In my original review (which youโll see below), I rated 4 due to the set up being stupid. Turns out, Iโm stupid. While the set up does have its issues, it works and is what it is. The yard thoughโฆ.HOLY CRAP THIS IS THE BEST ITS EVER LOOKED. Literally just a few weeks in and without any chemicals, my yard looks like itโs straight off the cover of better homes and gardens and it looks like this EVERY DAY because my Segway friend mows every other day and because heโs mowing so often, itโs only cutting maybe a 1/8 inch of grass every cut so my yard is basically self fertilizing. If youโre like me, youโve read a million reviews and him hawed around because of the priceโฆ. Iโm here to tell you to just do it. Itโll change your entire yard game! Youโll still have to weed eat because the absolute closest this can get to your home or some bordered flower bed is about 6 inches, but I can get my entire place weed eated in a matter of 15 minutes then sit back and enjoy my weekends cause the yard is already mowed in perfect straight lines. 5 stars. Love it. Never going back to manual mowing. I have the I110. So lets start with the bad stuff (although overall my review will end well). The set up instructions aren't great. Even the wording is just dumb. For example, you will set up a "zone" (like a back yard or whatever). But when you need to set up a second "zone", that option doesn't exist. Instead you have to set up a "boundary". Even stupider, once you set that "boundary", the app calls it "zone 2". Its just little dumb things like that. The scheduling is also not great. It only gives you days of week to schedule. So for example, you can set it something like 11am Sunday, 11am Wednesday, 11am Saturday which sounds great...I mean after all, every 3 days is about perfect. The problem though is that if you set that, your yard will be mowed every saturday and sunday (which is a pointless mow because you just mowed 24 hours earlier), then on wednesday. I wish the app gave you an "every X days" sort of option. I would love to see a constant rotating every 3 days or every 4 days instead of making you pick static days of the week. Now then - all of that having been said, this thing is still freaking awesome! I've only had it a week now, but so far I've mowed 3 times and it does a freaking fantastic job! Its crazy quiet. Its slow...and every now and then some strange glitch makes it miss a few passes...but the mower always doubles back and gets them even if its an hour later. Its odd. I'll gladly update my review once I've had it a month or so, but as it stands, I'm LOVING it and feel dumb for not having broken down and bought it some time ago. Know up front that you'll need serious patience to set it up. The instructions are horrible. Fortunately Segway Navimow put out a bunch of "how to" videos on youtube so you can find just about whatever particular thing your working on in the app and how to do it.....again...just requires some patience. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 starts (was because set up isn't intelligent or easy) but now that it is all set up and running, I couldn't be happier with it. Week 2 update. After a series of trial and error (mapping), Iโve got this thing dialed in and itโs doing great! The yard looks freaking awesome!

Best Purchase Ever!
At first, I was hesitant about the reliability of an automower but after doing some research and reading product reviews it came up to my attention that people were saying good things about them so I ended up going for the Segway iSeries mower based on its ready-to-go GPS mapping technology. After doing a mental business case to convince myself that it was a good investment I bought it and put it to work. The quality of the materials is amazing and the simplicity of the installation too. The mapping is the most important thing to do but it is simple and fun, once it is made you can forget about mowing at least for the life of the Navimow mower. My lawn is not leveled so I noticed that the mower was getting stuck from now and then in certain areas when the mower entered those areas from certain angles, to solve this problem I specified a preferred mowing direction in these zones so the mower now enters to these areas from a direction that it does not get stuck. I was so satisfied with this product that I also purchased the extra-traction wheels to minimize problems of the mower getting stuck somewhere. For security reasons, I installed an airtag inside the compartment in which the anti-theft feature that is sold separately goes, this saved me some money and will notify me if the mower leaves my property. A concern I had before purchasing this product was that since the mower does not have a bag to dispose the grass I did not like the fact that the lawn was going to end up with all the cut grass but how it works is that you first need to cut the lawn to the desired height and the automower will just maintain that cut by cutting very tiny pieces of grass each time so you cannot perceive it in the lawn. What I love: the time it saves me, the use of high-quality technology and the fact that my lawn looks perfect every single day since the mower cuts it every two days. Before this mower, I was spending 4 hours three times a month cutting the grass so my lawn looked great only the first 3 days after mowing which is equal to a maximum of 9 days of the month, the rest of the days the lawn looked like it was in need of a cut and I was hearing my wife complaining very often that it was time to cut it. Now I have all that time back for myself and my lawn looks perfect all the time. In less than a year the automower will pay itself and most important it can cut the grass on a daily basis if preferred guaranteeing a perfect look always (365 days/year). What I did not like: My house and my neighbors' (in the south) are two-story and there are about 15 feet between them so I was not able to map-out the section between houses since my neighbor house is blocking the satellites so the mower was not able to trace this zone accurately so I decided to skip it. Eventually I will have to go back and keep trying with different approaches but that was something I noticed that did not work for me (still the benefits outweigh the negatives). Another aspect I did not like was that in order to trace channels to go from one zone to another you need that the zones have at least a perimeter of 1 meter around so I was not able to add channels to mow the tiny zones in the sidewalk. Also, I still have to trim the edges from now and then but compared to the 4 hours I was spending three times a month now I spend about 25 minutes. Lastly, sometimes when the mower gets stuck and one of the wheels is not in touch with a surface an error of "lifting" happens and the troubleshooting is to press the mow+ok buttons or home+ok bottons in the mower to continue mowing but normally these commands do not do anything, I have to either lift it and take it to the power station and it automatically reboots itself or keeping pressed the mow+ok buttons and it resets it but takes a couple of minutes to start working again. Overall, I recommend this product to everyone... my lawn looks always perfect and I do not have to deal with the hot weather of south Texas nor with my wife complaining about overgrown grass. Happy wife, happy life! I will try to update this review regarding the lifetime of the battery and the effect of the sun on the hardware appearance through time.

The Navimow i110N robot is OK, but it won't achieve "overlord" status any time soon.
4 stars on the robot. 5 stars on customer service. I just finished my first mow with the i110N. My initial reaction was "Hey, I could get used to this!" Then I saw how the mower handled the rest of my lawn. I have an imperfect lawn that is a bit uneven, with several flat bare patches, and different kinds of grass. It's not a perfect, fantasy lawn as shown in the robot mower videos that would allow a robot mower to function at its best. This mower's optical system sees bare patches as obstacles and mows around them, even if there are a few bits of grass growing there. The same problem occurs where there are flat patchy spots where there is moss on dirt, but not much grass. Turning off the vision fence feature helped to reduce the problem, but the mower still spends a lot of time being confused and getting stuck in the middle of perfectly flat areas, that it literally can't see its way out of. This mower does a poor job of cutting the thicker tufts of grass. I will have to manually cut those with a string trimmer. It does great cutting thin bladed grasses and grasses that naturally grow more outward than upward. With each pass across the lawn, the mower leaves a bit of uncut grass on the edges of the strip. On followup mows, the mowing pattern is changed and most previously uncut bits are taken care of. I get the best cut when I mow then immediately re-mow an area - especially with thick grass areas (thick - not tall, grass.) The mower handles hills fairly well, coming at them from different angles to make sure that the whole thing is mowed. Note that if the blades are too low or the hill too steep, the mower will have problems mowing the hill. If parts of the lawn are missed, the mower will remember and go back over those areas to make sure they are mowed unless they are completely bare, in which case the mower sees those areas as obstacles. On the higher blade setting small sticks and small rocks are not an issue. Pine cones and small pine/tree branches need to be removed before mowing. This thing is S--L--O--W. It takes almost an entire day (1 1/2 - 2 full charges) to mow 400 square meters (478 square yards or about 1/10th acre.) So, I decided to break my lawn into two zones so I could mow one zone at a time. During peak grass growing season, you will likely need to mow at least every other day. Set up was pretty easy with the app and mow progress can be monitored on your phone which is nice. Since my mower was losing wi-fi signal at the edges of my yard, I bought the 4g module and that solved the problem. Navimow says that the cost for annual 4g service with the optional module is $32.90 after the first year of free access ends. (Price as of 3/10/25) In summary, this is a fairly dumb device, that does an average job. At least I don't have to do as much mowing as I did before, so that's a win. Tip: buy the 6 blade cutter for a better cut. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLKC7KB3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title A far as robots go, this one won't be achieving "overlord" status any time soon. but if you aren't too picky, it will probably be good enough for most average yard needs. Navimow customer service reached out to me as a result of reading my review. At a time when good customer service is very hard to find, the Navimow support folks have been a fabulous shining example of what it means to provide excellent customer service. Their communication has been amazing and I feel like my concerns were heard. They offered ideas and suggestions for how to improve the mowing results, which were mostly helpful. The customer service alone might be enough to justify buying this mower and I upgraded my rating as a result of my customer service experience. Now, if only Navimow could just provide some way to secure the mower over night so that it doesn't rely on a module to send a phone alarm should the mower be stolen at a time when the owner is sleeping, away from their phone, or not in a position to track down and confront a mower thief. There needs to be a way to secure this and other robot mowers BEFORE they get stolen, rather than alerting owners after the fact. The module works great to extend wi-fi access across my yard, but as a theft deterent, it is a waste of time and money, IMHO.

Recent software updates killed the mower
Update May 2025 Navimow support are unable to rectify the issues that were introduced by the big software update. Another update last week caused the map to drift again. The photo shows the mower completely missing the edge of the lawn. The mower has also repeatedly been driving into some steps, causing the bodywork to get scratched up. More error intermittent error messages and contradictory advice from support. I am losing patience with what started out as a great tool. Update after 6 months (April 2025): After the initial problems in setting it up, things have been going great. I bought a second mower to complete my yard coverage. I had some tech issues but Navimow has been supportive. Then Navimow issued a major software 'upgrade' a few weeks ago. System has been unstable. Mapping drifted and needing to be redone multiple times (not a simple tasks with two mowers and a complex yard) Regular error messages about the antenna or base station having moved - even when it has not. This cause further mapping issues. I have spent multiple hours trying to trouble shoot with no end in sight. Subtracting two stars for this self inflicted software problem First mower arrived damaged and was quickly replaced. Second one was set up over a couple of days of mapping and worked brilliantly for a couple of weeks. I was boasting to all my friends about how good this thing was Then it stopped working - could not get a signal I spent a long time emailing back and forth with support. The support really isnt that good or knowledgeable. Throughout this episode I repeated the satellite scan and never had fewer than 7 visible satellites with good signal. I kept asking support what the minimum was, what angles from the antenna these should be etc. Detailed questions that I never got an answer for Support kept repeating that I should move the charger away from the house. But that is where the power is, so not a practical option for most people. Then suddenly it started working again. I had to remap my whole yard, but was so happy that it was back alive after 3 days. Mapping took way longer this time because I was now more careful about how to map terrain that the mower had difficulty with. This caused me some issue with the app: 1. The Antenna Locator function with the app does not seem to be consistent with the self check function that occurs before starting to map. A green or yellow score from the locator function (which indicates a workable location for the charger or antenna) did not mean that the location could reliably receive GPS. Multiple times I planted the antenna in a 'green' location - only for another part of the app to say that signal was non existent 2. Satellite scan seem to be no indicator of a workable GPS signal. Yesterday the mower lost signal. There were 7 satellites visible on the scanner within the 90 degree range and several more at other angles. Support has avoided telling me what their requirements are despite asking several times, but isnt 7 strong signals enough? After 10 minutes of hunting, connection came back and the mower continued - with the same number of satellites visible 3. Editing the map is cumbersome. I had to remap one zone several times because it was easier to start over than edit. In summary - when it works I love it But support is pretty useless. I am an enthusiastic consumer, prepared to spend time to make the product better. Throughout my interactions with support I don't think they ever said anything really helpful or insightful. This seems like an opportunity lost
