Is it normal for the text to show upside down? I have to flip my text 180 to be able to read it.

Your eye needs to be closer to the loupe. All magnifying lenses will do this as the light is converging to a point and if you are past that point the image is reversed.

What configuration are the 3 batteries that go in the foldable loupe? Took them out to change them and didnt write it down

positive side facing you. As if you were looking through it

What kind of batteries does it use

The flat magnifier needs three LR44 batteries. The flip-out magnifier needs three LR1130 batteries.

Is 90x strong enough to view the RGB subpixels on a computer monitor?

I believe so. I just watched a YouTube video of an approximate 20x magnification of subpixels on a MacBook. The title of the video is “Magnified RBG Pixels on an LCD Monitor” Hope this helps!
