Tasty, great, already reordering.
Iโm definitely buying more. Just wanted to leave my opinion as I was completely surprised how good they tasted. Never really had natto before, including when I was in Japan. Guess it never came up. However, these are very tasty. A slight, very slight aftertaste but I quickly got accustomed to it. Iโve been eating them straight out of the bag too much so Iโm going to reorder. Actually why I came to the review as I asked my Alexa to reorder. Just have to worry about over consumption as the Fiber content is high. Donโt want to overdo fiber intake, trust meโฆโฆ..Anywho, The taste is similar to chickpeas, so Iโm not sure why Iโve read it wasnโt good or tough to the tastebuds. I want to try the refrigerator process and add some white rice later, so Iโll do that in this next reorder.I highly recommend these!!

Yummy!
These are extremely delicious. put 10 grams of dried natto in a ramekin or small container with plastic wrap with 20ml of water, let it sit for 3 hours in the fridge and you have real natto. If you want a bigger portion just double the measurements and make sure the water doesnt go over the beans. The less water you add and it will be just like the real natto that comes out the packs. This is so good with soy sauce, kimchi and I like it the most just mixed with furikake on rice and maybe a raw egg. This is a great option for those who do not live near an asian market and want to try natto. This tastes even better heated up like in Natto Spaghetti or Natto Chahan.

A distinctly nutty side dish that's great for the gut flora!
Admittedly- I'm an Amazon snack-a-holic, so naturally these were gonna eventually show up in my cart! The taste is very nut-like up front- one that lingers for quite a while on the tongue after you eat. Slight bitterness. To be honest, I like this product MUCH better after a shorter soak- say 15 minutes. This retains a lot of the crunch, while still giving you that slurry stickiness after a light mix. Love it on rice, with a bit of chopped onion and a splash of soy sauce.

Mushy when rehydrated.
Good for a snack or a salad topping, but I like to rehydrate them and eat them over rice, and these turn mushy after soaking. The best part about natto is stirring it until foamy. If you try to rehydrate these and stir, they turn into mush- like soggy cereal. Not very appetizing. Iโll save these for salad toppings instead.

Give it a try, it is not bad at all
* Finally back in stock!! This is my favorite freeze dried natto!! * This is pretty good. Not as good as the natto furikaki but still very good. It is freeze dried, that makes it easy to crush and add to furikaki I have on hand. It was a good purchase. The flavor is slightly sour but light. I haven't tried mixing water in and using it that way as of yet. For now this way works for me.*** This is my 3rd or 4th reorder. It is addicting, the flavor, the crispy crunch. I tried it as a salad topping and yep that works as well. ๐

Scent of a Male Locker room
It smells like the room of a teenage boy. Could not taste it because the scent is nauseating

JAYUSS Japanese Natto Freeze Dried Natto Beans 4 Oz, Non-GMO Fermented Soybean
Nice price and I read it has a lot of natural vitamin K2 but it has a lot of oxalates. I didn't know so I have to stop eating it as I'm prone to kidney stones. Lol.

Thank You
I love this. I never heard of natto before, until I started to get really sick when I was taking vitamin D, because I didn't know I was supposed to take Vitamin D with K2. I started doing research, and realized that natto was very healthy, and high in K2. I was initially afraid to take it, because of all the videos on how nasty it is. But, in all truthfulness it isn't nasty. I just eat it with my food. I always liked eating something cold with warm food, and this is perfect. Eating Natto is now a primary in my life, thank you for offering it.
