I do not have Android auto in my vehicle so although this is from motorbike I thought I'd give it to go and try and use it for my car.It's all came well boxed with the screen and all the accessories you need to wire it up to whatever you are going to use, it also comes with some nice instructions to follow.The first off I wanted to check it with a USB powered device. All you need to do is plug in the wire for the USB and it all switches on.Next stage is to follow the instructions and pair your phone which is very simple, don't forget to make sure your phone is at least Android 11 or Android 10 if you have a Samsung phone otherwise the wireless carplay will not work.You can either pair it via the screen or via your phone.Once it was paired I then followed the instructions to get the Bluetooth to work with your earphones and this is also very simple to do.I started Spotify up and it was all working absolutely perfectly.There are lots of different options on the screen but one of my favorites was the graphic equiliser that that seemed to work a really well.You can also insert an SD card into the slot so you can play music off this if you want to come up this is very simple and you just have to remove the cover of screws to get to the TF card because of course this is waterproof.Onto the waterproofing I actually left it under a light shower for a couple of minutes and came back to it and it was all working perfectly.I then quickly wired it up to my 12 volt battery on my car with the other lead that was supplied and this worked absolutely perfectly as well, as a nice touch it does have an inline fuse so that you don't blow the unit itself if you overpower it.My friend who rides a motorbike said the bracket for fitting this screen is really good and should work and absolute treat.The touch screen itself works absolutely perfectly as well and works really seamlessly with Android auto, I cannot comment about apple car play as I did not use that.Overall a brilliant solution if you do not have Apple carplay or Android auto in your car and also a great addition to your motorbike. (I still worry about the safety implications on a motorbike but I'm sure as long as you do not use this while you are mobile then it'll be safe as houses)Highly recommended.

Ordered for a friend to use who regularly does up motorbikes and goes off on trips with his own. He said that this is a very practical product as it's bigger than his phone so it's easier to use when biking and it has a very clear screen even when it was a sunny day he could still see it easily.It was easy to set up and to use, it came with instructions but he didn't need to refer to them. Great to be able to connect his helmet via bluetooth so he could hear his audiobook clearly whilst on the road. It withstood plenty of bumps so he's happy with it and says that it's a great design for biking.

This is a really good CarPlay screen for motorbikes or any other vehicle that is exposed to the elements. Though, it is designed to clamp on to the bike's handlebars, so if it isn't a bike, make sure it fits.The screen is well waterproofed, unlike the car equivalents. You also get a choice of power options, USB (for me this was the easiest) or wiring directly into the bike's electrics.The screen is really responsive and performance is good. I pretty much only use it with CarPlay so don't see the other sides of it, and I do not have an Android phone to try.The slight cover does help a lot, keeping the sun and rain out of the way.Extremely happy with it. There are cheaper options available, but none are as good.

I fitted this to my husbands bike and he tells me its a very impressive piece of kit. It was very easy to fit, and all fittings are included. The bluetooth connected seamlessly, stayed strong the whole time and never dropped. The screen is very clear and bright, making it very easy to use, and the navigation was brilliant. Really happy with the ease of using this and the ease of setting up.

My husband and I ride together and with a group.We were looking for a CarPlay unit to enhance our riding experience, offering hands free calls, messaging, navigation and music mainly.This unit does all the above and more.The unit is very simple to install and if you’ve had Bluetooth in your helmet before or a unit in the car you’ll find it pretty easy to set up.The bracket is secure and stable and straightforward clear instructions come with it.Customer service is very on the ball should you get stuck.The touch screen is perfectly sized and very responsive even when wearing gloves which is surprising.Connectivity is very stable and seems reliable. It didn’t drop signal once over our afternoon ride.We encountered rain which isn’t surprising in the UK, and the unit was completely unaffected by it.The screen is bright and sharp and easy to see in direct sunlight especially with the shade.The fit, finish and build are all good and I’m really happy with my order.It enables me to easily speak to other riders in our group, especially if there’s a hazard on the road, and to see the latest traffic information, this together with some great music elevates the riding experience while adding a layer of safety.It’s excellent value for money and a fraction of the price of branded equivalents, and is performing well to date in all weathers.Do check compatibility prior to ordering.I hope you find my review helpful.
