Purchased this to replace the old smoke detector in our 10 year old travel trailer. Easy to install with good directions/ if you understand how electrical devices work.

It was easy to replace the one I had with this product. There wasn't much to pick from as far as products to replace my expired one. I am very happy with this one & do recommend it.

Manufacturer is being cheap. Go to the hardware store before attempting installation.
This product is expensive. I chose it to replace my Safe T Alert CO alarm in my RV that was at the end of its life. This is labeled for marine use. I presume it should work in my RV. Most annoying is that it doesn’t come the cheap little tidbits that you need to install it. You need butt splicers for the hardwire connection. These cost pennies. The kit does not come with screws for the mounting bracket. There is no guidance and which screws are recommended. There is virtually zero clearance between the mounting bracket and the device. It took a couple trips to the hardware store to get the right screws. I estimate it would cost the company about 80 cents to include these items and limit the customer’s frustration. I hope that the alarm works. And I hope that I never have to find out if it does.

Great carbon monoxide detector
Looked all over the internet for RV carbon monoxide detector so went with marine rated and it works great fits in our 2017 Fleetwood bounder ! Super easy to install with clear directions.
