Bought this for my sisters boyfriend, he loves it. He said it feels exactly how he imagined it should. It's slightly heavy but he said it's supposed to be. He wore it to the Renaissance Faire recently and it was hit.

Wanted a great helm for both a party we are planning and also for HEMA reenactment at Renfaire’s. Helmet was nicely made the padding was OK but it looked awesome even though I thought it was reasonably priced at roughly $70. My wife unfortunately rightly noted that I would probably only wear it a couple times and that it was a want, but not a need which are my words. I asked if I wore it every day to work at the grocery store and the chiropractor etc. if I could keep it well at least I have pictures of me in it even though it’s wrapped in the plastic it came in. I still have plans for down the road and would highly recommend this great hill if you were not married .

Really interesting item - my daughter bought this (through me) as a gift for her boyfriend who has, shall we say, "eclectic" taste. What in the world he wanted this helmet for, I cannot say. However, I will say that the item arrived on time and carefully packaged. It was exactly as pictured and my daughter's boyfriend was thrilled. He promptly put it on and looked like he was preparing for a jousting tournament, which is apparently just the effect he was trying for.Both he and my daughter participate in marching band, and they both remarked that the inside of the helmet was engineered exactly the same way that their marching band uniform hats are - with space for your head to fit into and a strap to secure it. So this helmet is made to actually be worn.I guess all he needs now is some chainmail, a sword and a war horse. So a big five-stars from us - interesting item exactly as described and it was just what the goofball wanted. :)

Okay, I bought this helmet for a crusader Halloween costume, but based off of the picture most of you are gonna be looking for a SwaggerSouls helmet. If thats the case, this is about as close as you can get. Now, many of the other reviews and pictures are gonna make you skeptical of whether or not to buy this product. I felt the exact same way. What is pictured is exactly what I got from the box. Its pretty much Swagger's helmet, but it can also be used for a cosplay or anything else. For the price of $67 when I purchased this, It was worth it. This helmet is pretty high quality, but there are flaws. You can tell it was handmade by someone, but it still looks good. The eye holes are a little uneven, but you can still see through them perfectly fine. Its pretty heavy for a kid, but as a teenager, this is nothing. I have a pretty large head, and the adjustable straps at the top made it able to fit better. It comes with straps so it stays on, while also keeping it adjustable so it doesn't fall off of your head. For the small price, this is a very well done helmet. If you're on the edge of passing onto another helmet, or buying this one, I would take a chance and get this helmet. If you don't like it, or it doesn't meet your expectations, you can always send it back. But yes, I really like this helmet and I would recommend it to the reader. I would give it a 5/5, but it came almost drenched in oil to prevent rust. It took awhile to get it off.

This actually looked better than the picture. I only opted for this one because it was cheaper and would arrive sooner than the other options out there.I was worried that I would have to get some grease from my local auto-shop, but boy was I wrong. The outside was already lovingly glazed in that familiar blackish brown membrane. I knew as soon as I felt that slick sensation against my fingersThe helmet is good quality, made of actual metal, and even a little heavy (but that's good). If there aren't any cheaper options, this one isn't a bad choice.

Very well built helmet, there’s a couple sharp pieces on it but didn’t cause any problems, filed them down just to be safe. Comes with a light coat of oil for rust prevention, easily removed. It has an adjustable leather chinstrap and adjustable webbing on the inside, I have a large head and could adjust it to fit comfortably. Great product, excellent for both yeeting or crusading.

The build quality isn't great.It came with sharp rivets on the inside, which also happened to extent out waay further than they needed to and put a nice slice down the center of my nose the first time I put it on.I have a bigger head and it fits decently. The inside webbing to hold your head broke the first time i put it on as well after pressing down on the top of the helm to get it to fit a little better.But now that its gone, it fits great. LolO'd say only buy this if your willing to put a bit of time into modding it to your needs.Not great, not horrible.

Doesn't really look like the picture but I personally like it better.Only thing that was odd was the oily stuff on the helmet when it arrived.Another thing is that its slightly uneven eye cut out on one side so it looks a little uneven but that's only from certain angles you can tell.Beautiful helmet and going to be my Halloween costume for years especially if my whole outfit in total is $230. 💀💀💀Also its sad that there aren't many females that like or know what crusaders(templar in reality or just knight) are, but ima girl crusader now. Call me a nerd or whatever but I'm going to be chillin as a crusader watching anime 😂.
