Cat Wand Refill - Real Rabbit Fur Mouse

This is our cat Campbell's favorite mouse right now. I cut the bell off for safety purposes (note to Kats'N Us folks- not necessary and too easily swallowed). I think this mouse reminds him of the juvenile mice he and his buddy, Benjie, catch in our basement occasionally (Sigh!). Campbell will not let this little critter out of his sight and he loves to carry it around on the wand which he does with his favorite toys. I agree with the reviewer who said it's very durable- kind of firm inside so it holds up to being mouthed a bit and there doesn't seem to be much interest in chewing on it other than the tail. Great simple toy!Update: Campbell got his first rabbit fur mouse caught in a door while dragging the toy around and the hook came off (understandably). But I put a new replacement on and the hook came off after just a day or two of normal play...not sure why this happened since the first one was very durable. I had to tie it to the wand with the stretchy black cord sticking out of the hole. So not as satisfied with the second mouse.....Will be ordering another because this is one of his favs, though.

Just got this yesterday and used last night in our two cats separate evening play sessions. The cat I was playing with last night really enjoyed this new wand mouse. Tonight I was playing with our other cat and as we were playing behind closed doors, the other cat left my husband behind in another room to sit outside the room I was in. We let him in and both cats were playing for a bit until he took over and confiscated the mouse in his mouth and growled around it. I didn’t want to let him have this wand toy mouse to wreck, so I just ordered him some non-wand grey mice fromKats’N Us. The wand mouse seems sturdy enough to last as long as you don’t let the cat mouth it too much. I don’t mind the bell. I think it excites them a bit and it’s not too jangly. We were previously using Da Bird mice toys, but they fell apart too quickly and I felt like I was replacing them every week or so. Will update review if I encounter any troubles with these falling apart too quickly. The trick with wand toys is that they are for you and the cat to play with together and then the toy should be put away until the next play session.

Very disappointed with the quality, the toy has bald spots and an uneven texture! I could have bought a five pack of the same if not better toy mice for the same price on ebay! The only difference between them, is this one has a bell and hook to attach to the wand! $10 dollars for a cheaply made defective toy! I will not buy again! I hope no animals were harmed in the process of manufacturing these toys! I am still unclear on how and what they are made of! Pros-The cats still enjoy them!

My cats liked this toy a little too much. I had to throw it away the same day I got it. I might buy it again, though, if I need to keep them continuously entertained. It's very small, the main reason I threw it away was bc I was worried that one of my cats would swallow it when he was chewing on it.

I bought toy mice to go on a cat teaser. The toys were well made. The stray kitten was trying to hunt the real deal and he is very picky about toys. He loved these! I had a pole set with attachments but he wouldn't play until he saw these toys.

The cats favorite toy! They love to play with this as if it were a real mouse. The real fur seems to be a big draw and the tinkle bell an added attraction. Only trouble is I can't find it now, must be under something. I am thinking of getting more of these, they love it so much.

One of the best mice for any wand teaser! 4 picky felines love this mouse b/c of the rabbit fur & the tiny bell on it's tail. It is more natural for their senses & when they hear that tiny bell move even in a dead sleep they come a runnin'. Fast shipping, will order again!

Was going to purchase but reading description it said it was made with real rabbit fur. I’ll pass, not for me.
