Good quality batteries
I have purchased this brand a few times. Seems to be just as good as the top name brand at a more favorable price.

Time Will Tell If These Are Competitively Priced and Really a Bargain
Without elaborate tests both in slow and high drain uses, its really hard to know how good a battery is in performance. And without letting them sit on a shelf for 10 years, not possible to know if they will live up to that shelf life.Likewise, without letting them sit for quite a while at significantly below operating charge level, no way to be sure how leak proof they will be. And that is a particularly important issue in electronics that are not used routinely, so you are unaware they may be making a mess. All of which adds up to a lot of unknowns this early on. From a price perspective, if they live up to their claims, they are about midpoint. Not a super bargain, but not high priced. Just in the middle at 45ยข/each when I ordered mine. You can find AAs for less, and with the same promises of no leak and long shelf life. The box says to "see battery" for expiration date. I looked all over mine before I finally found that stamped on the bottom. Mine are marked "01-2035". Seems a bit odd since I got them 08/2024. I guess it doesn't matter because I have no doubt I will used them before the 10 year shelf life is up.Overall, I decided on four stars, with a bit of trust here. I ran a check on all 20 using an HP DVM, and all read 1.62V - so at least they were consistent. Had one or more varied, that would have left me really wondering about product control. But as a sort of less known brand name, I can't say they are a huge bargain.I can't even say for sure how they will perform across all those categories I gave above. So four stars, with a element of faith.

Work well, last long
I love that these batteries are leakproof and better for the environment that the batteries we are use to buying. I also love that they are packaged in small bundles, so you don't have a ton of tiny batteries loose in the drawer after opening the packaging. These batteries work well and have lasted a long time. Especially in our video game controllers. This seems to be where we replace batteries the most. These have lasted as long or even longer than our usual brand.I am highly pleased to be able to make a better choice in battery without sacrificing play time.

A Great Deal For Great Batteries
These are an incredible value of AA batteries, as you get 20 at an impressive/competitive cost. Most bulk batteries are overpriced, and I am surprised that not only do these batteries cost less, but they also work well. While I do not have the proper tools (i.e., a battery tester) to tell you how well they perform compared to other brands, they have worked incredibly well in the few items I own that needed fresh batteries. The batteries come wrapped nicely in packs of 5 in a sturdy cardboard box, and each battery is in perfect condition, with no signs of corrosion on any of the battery ends. The batteries are also well-built, similar to the composition and makeup of more premium AA batteries, so I hope these will last a comparable amount of time. I highly recommend this brand (particularly in bulk) if you frequently need more batteries. I recommend them for those that use fewer batteries as well. I constantly look for more when I least expect it and have none available, so having these as a backup is valuable. With an expiration date of 01-2035 (stamped on the bottom of each battery), the 10-Year Shelf Life is more than enough time to utilize all of them, even if only used in 1-2 selected devices.

so far so good
I usually use rechargeable AA batteries, but sometimes I buy a new product that needs 4 or more AAs and I don't have enough spare rechargeables around. Or I go to use something that has been idle for a while and find that I "borrowed" the batteries out of it for something else. There are also a few devices that really don't like rechargeable batteries. They really want the full 1.5 volts, not the 1.2v of a nicad or nimh.Having this pack in the drawer should help with this problem, at least for a while.I haven't done any testing other than putting them in a device and turning it on. They pass the "turn on a device" test. I will update later if I notice extremely poor or extremely good performance as time goes on.

Good, premium priced AA batteries
Premium priced (aka, inexpensive) alkaline batteries can be a bit of a gamble. You can end up with anything from very close to the brand name versions to half dead and leaking. These by Voniko seem skew towards the former. All checked out as working. None were weak or leaked. All looked fresh.Advertised as having a 10 year shelf life, mine came with an expiration date of 1-2035. So either I somehow got them a good 4-1/2 months before they were manufactured, or "these go to 11". I'm not going to knock any points off for being a tad misleading because I don't even expect the brand name versions to actually be fully (or even partially functional) after lying around for 10 years. The way I (and I think most people) go through AAs it's not an issue. So, good batteries at a good price. Enough said.

6 hour of CD player used 2 sets.
Good thing they are cheap because they are also short lived. We used these on a road trip just over 6 hours. Maybe a bad batch, but I had to replace my daughter's CD player batteries 3 times there and back, and soon after again at home. Our Amazon Basic batteries lasted much longer. No, I would not recommend.
