Outstanding Water Distiller—Worth Every Penny!
This VIVOHOME water distiller has been an outstanding purchase! I use it to make distilled water for my CPAP, and the savings have been phenomenal. The 1.6-gallon capacity is a great size for my needs. With the small amount of water I use, one batch can last me approximately six weeks—sometimes even two months. I start with tap water, and I’ve been very pleased with the distilled water it produces. Having my own supply is so much more convenient than buying distilled water every few weeks. Leakage has been no issue at all, and the durability has been great so far. As for taste, I notice no unpleasant taste when using the charcoal filter. Compatibility has also been excellent—the distilled water works very well for my CPAP needs. I’ve used a CPAP since around 2014, and my only regret is that I didn’t buy this sooner! I highly recommend it to anyone who regularly needs distilled water, especially fellow CPAP users. Excellent capacity, convenience, and value—an easy five stars!

A Lot Quieter than my old one! Love that!
The distiller was just delivered today (2 days early!) and it's working great! I need to run it through two full-times before the first use. (allow an hour in between to cool down) I like that it has more features like automatic shut off and a molded strong handle to lift the top part off. It also comes with little cleaning tablets. I like that it runs on 900 Watts - more powerful. My old countertop distiller was a cheaper model, had less power and burned out a couple months ago. This is a much better replacement. This distiller is very durable and has stainless steel material inside. It also came with the cord accessory, jug and cap(s) for the jug. The silver cap works great but you don't need to use it if you don't want to. Installation took less than 5 minutes. It takes 3 to 4 hours to run a big jug of water ... depending on whether you start out with hot or cold water in the tank. On the outside bottom of it doesn't get too hot and the temperature of the water that drips into the jug is not too hot either. Mainly the motor gets hot and it's well insulated in stainless steel under the bottom of the lid. I think this unit is very well built! I bought this on sale for only $101 so I feel like this distiller is great value for the money as well. Distilled water always has a good taste! The BEST part is it is not very noisy to run so that means the motor is surrounded by better materials.

Great Distiller
I love this distiller. I use the water to drink and for my cpap. The silver cap didn't work well and leaked pretty bad so I just put a small silicone funnel i already had and no more worries or leaks. Simple solution. The noise level for me is minimal because it is just a fan and thats not a big deal nor is it loud or annoying. I let it run overnight and it turns itself off so there are no worries there either. Its easy to clean and it works flawlesslessly. I highly recommend this unit and for the price point you cant go wrong.

Absolutely do not recommend
So sorry there is not a zero stars option. Absolutely the worst product I have ever bought. I bought this one because it came highly recommended. It is sitting on a perfectly flat level surface and is correctly installed, and only about half of the water goes into the tank while the rest of it runs all over the counter, drip by drip. I tried turning around the metal receiving angle, then propping up the side away from the distillery by about a half an inch, as recommended by the company, and more water is going into the receiving tank now, but I should not have to do this. All it would take would be for the manufacturer to make the distribution spout about a half inch longer and all the water would go into the tank but they cheaped out by shortening the spout. It takes forever for 1 gallon of water to be processed, and then I only have about half of a gallon because the rest is all over the countertop. Very disappointed. Oh, and as some people have mentioned, it is loud but I'm not bothered by that. I'm bothered by a simple adjustment that the company could make that would keep this from happening. As the manufacturer shows, the open side of the receiving metal angle is facing toward the distiller. They discuss that one way of taking care of this problem is to turn out so that it faces the other way. That's not the way the product was built; they also suggest propping up the side away from the distiller. You shouldn't have to do that when you're on a level surface. Note a toothbrush underside is being used to prop up a tank because this seemed to be the right size.Junk junk junk!

LOVE IT — absolutely worth it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
LOVE LOVE LOVE this water distiller! It has been absolutely worth it. It’s easy to use, works exactly like it’s supposed to, and makes having distilled water on hand so convenient. No more constantly buying jugs from the store and worrying about running out. The machine feels sturdy and well made, and I’ve been extremely happy with it. Definitely one of those purchases I wish I had made sooner!

Easy to use and easy to clean! Very mutual
Love this thing. Use it for my CPAP, humidifiers, robot vacuum/mop, making baby formula, Houseplants, my fur baby’s automatic water fountain, bottle warmer, and so many more! BEWARE: First two full runs of this machine is said to not be safe for drinking. I just want people to know that in case you miss that part. I just used it for mop water. I put the metal piece for the gallon upside down because I noticed that if I have it up the water that drips down follows along the inside and drips around the opening of the gallon rather than inside it. Or you could just like not use the metal piece or you can use a silicone funnel. Love this machine and it is just a tank literally lol. Not too heavy, but he gets the job done. No odor at all. It seems very durable. The only annoying thing is getting water in it because I can’t fit in my sink, so I gotta kinda hold it at a weird angle and spray into it. Also, don’t forget to plug in the top lid as well. Otherwise you’re just boiling water and it’s probably gonna do little to nothing. I wouldn’t have cabinets or anything above this guy as just a precaution so you don’t accidentally ruin your cabinets if you forget to plug in the top lid or you’re cleaning it with the lid off and just forget that this is a lot of hot steam. When you run it normally though it is totally fine and does not release any moisture at the top. Very easy to clean if you use citric acid that they give you or buy some at the store for cheap. Just make sure that you have the lid off when you’re cleaning it. Overall, great easy use and easy to clean!

Overall, I do really like the VIVOHOME Water Distiller!
Not sure how I want to rate this Water Distiller. I will start with things that need to be worked on. The cap that goes over the water canister. When you put it on top of the water canister, there's a small margin for error. I placed it on, started it, and came back much later, and the water was leaking down the counter onto my wood floor. I was not a happy camper, but I should have looked more closely at the downspout's position. After cleaning up the mess, I started to look at everything. Looking at the metal cap, there is a V-shaped piece of metal on the top to funnel water into the canister. The V should be facing out so it forms a funnel/trough, but when I turned it the way I thought it would work, that V funnel was on the far side of the hole, not even close to the downspout. I was confused why it had to be the other way. Then I spotted that the bottom of the Distiller's canister was wider than the top, and the plastic water canister, and they were hitting each other, making the hole the water needed to go into further away. So if the Water Distiller were higher, it would work better. I placed my rigid plastic cutting board under the Water Distiller. But that didn't make the downspout closer to the V funnel. I placed one of the rubber legs under the Water Distiller in the juice grove around my cutting board, which shifted it over the water canister and the V-funnel, lining it up much better. So what is my opinion? The solution is to make the Water Distiller canister top and bottom the same size. I am sure they did it this way to make it more stable due to the weight distribution. I think if they make the Water Distiller heaver on the base it would solve the problem. I have a H2O Labs Water Distiller, and the bottom is heavier. Now, to what I like about this Water Distiller. First, the capacity is 1.6 gallons, versus 1 gallon for most Water distillers. The made a handle in the lid so it is much easier to remove the top from the bottom. The VIVOHOME Water Distiller seems much faster than my H2o Labs Water Distiller. The power cord is good. On my H2o, Labs, it is shorter, which limits where I can place it. With that said, I really do like the VIVOHOME Water Distiller. I'm not quite sure how to rate this Water Distiller, so I'll start with areas that I think could use some improvement. One issue is the cap that fits over the water canister. When you place it on top, there's very little margin for error. I started the distiller and, when I returned later, I found water leaking down the counter onto my wood floor. Understandably, I was not happy. However, I realized I should have paid closer attention to the downspout's position. After cleaning up the mess, I examined everything more closely. The metal cap has a V-shaped piece on top that is supposed to funnel water into the canister. The V should be facing outward to create a proper funnel, but when I positioned it as I thought it should, the V funnel ended up on the far side of the hole, far from the downspout. This confused me, as it seemed the other way around should be the case. Then I noticed that the bottom of the distiller's canister is wider than the top, causing it to collide with the plastic water canister. This misalignment pushed the hole through which the water needed to flow farther away, which is why the distiller would perform better if it were higher. I placed a rigid plastic cutting board under the Water Distiller, but that didn’t bring the downspout closer to the V funnel. Eventually, I propped one of the rubber legs under the distiller on the juice groove of my cutting board, which shifted it over the water canister and aligned the V funnel much better. So, what’s my opinion? The solution would be to make the top and bottom of the Water Distiller canister the same size. I assume the current design is intended for stability due to weight distribution, but I think adding more weight to the base would solve the issue. I have an H2O Labs Water Distiller, and its base is heavier. Now, let's talk about what I like about this Water Distiller. First, it has a capacity of 1.6 gallons, compared to just 1 gallon for most water distillers. The lid also has a handle, making it much easier to remove the top from the bottom. Additionally, the VIVOHOME Water Distiller seems to operate much faster than my H2O Labs distiller. The power cord is also longer, giving me more flexibility in choosing a placement.

VIVOHOME Water Distiller Countertop
I’m absolutely thrilled with the VIVOHOME Water Distiller Countertop 1.6 Gallon/6L 900W! From setup to first use, everything was straightforward and hassle-free. The unit feels solid and well-built, and the smart switch makes it incredibly convenient—just set it and forget it while it produces clean, pure water. The distilled water tastes crisp and fresh, and I feel confident knowing it’s free from impurities. I love that it’s large enough for home or office use without taking up too much counter space. The included filter works perfectly, and cleaning the machine is quick and simple. Overall, this distiller is a game-changer for anyone wanting pure, safe drinking water every day. Highly recommend for home or office—it’s worth every penny!

Great unit!!
I have had this distiller for a few months and I am very happy with it. Price was excellent, quality good, design excellent. This unit has replaced our previous MegaHome distiller that sadly isn’t worth the price, in less than 2 years it died and it had cost me 3 x the price of my new unit. I like that this unit is larger has more megawatts so in less time than my old unit I have more water distilled water. The water tastes good, keep the unit clean between uses to save time on a crusty bottom, yes the pot does get discoloured but this isn’t uncommon in distillers depending on how much crap is in your water to start with. We have a water softener so yes there is lots of crap in the water. The container that collects the distilled water is sturdy, I transfer water to a glass gallon jug and keep a minimum of 12 gallons of water on hand for drinking and cooking. The unit shuts off when it is empty then you use the reset button for your next use. what I like is the on and off switch that I didn’t have on the other unit so if you want to stop the unit before it is empty just switch it off without unplugging it. Overall great machine for the price I paid, Thankyou for making this product so well!!

Worked for about 80 hours. So far so good !
Seems like an excellent product. So far, it worked for about 80 hours and does a perfect job. I can't say anything negetive about this item. So far, I am very satisfied. Some people complain about the nozzle not being alligned with the blue container spout and spilling water on the counter. I found these comments to be greatly exagerated. All that is needed is to put an object like a tick folded piece of paper under the blue container to tilt it a few degrees towards the distiller. This is no problem at all. Yes there is a small alignment problem but it is not really a problem.

Weak cord, happy otherwise.
I had to give 4 stars as mine came with a cord that wouldn't make a solid 115v connection. I requested a return, which was approved. However, this cord is identical to standard computer so I substituted a larger gauge cord and kept the original item. Distiller now works well, from a single full water fill, it make about 5.5L of distilled in 4 3/4 hr. I prefer not to run it dry as there is quite a mess afterwards. I plugged mine into an Amazon wifi plug and instruct Alexa to shut off when it has run for 4 3/4 hr. A quick swipe with clean paper towels while still warm, there is very little deposits in the bottom. I use soft water from my hot water tap, and white vinegar for the minimal deposits left. So far pleased with this distiller, we use about 8 L of distilled a week.

Works Perfectly!
This is an excellent unit, I’ve been using it almost daily for about 2 months now, and I’ve even used it twice in a day (letting it cool off between cycles) with no problems. It works perfectly for my needs, my tap water smells like a swampy lake sometimes, and has a reddish tint to it. There are some VOCs in my water where sometimes even after distilling it still smells swampy, so I just put it through a Brita filter to take the rest of the smell away and then I add a tiny bit of concentrated trace minerals, and it tastes nice and fresh like water from BC! I highly recommend this unit, I am very happy with my purchase and would purchase again. 😊
