We bought these hoping to help keep gnats away from us while we are sitting on the lanai around a bunch of our plants. Gnats love to live in the soil of the plants and reproduce. We use a couple other things to get rid of gnats but they still annoy us. So we light these sticks and they are fragrant, like incense but kind of a soapy smell. They are very thin, light easily and burn 30 - 45 minutes. We can't really tell if they keep gnats away but we like the fragrance.

This Camphor by HEM is the same great smell as I remember. It burns relatively slowly. I take each agarbati and cut it in half that way I have double the incense for puja. It has great energy and helps establish a sacred mood. I will buy again and will recommend to everyone I can.

overall I liked the smell of this incense stick. But this is smelling different than I have thought of. On the description it says, it has got the camphor smell but, it is way off then the real camphor smell. But the smell is not annoying, i love it, quite strong for a room . recommend not using in the presence of small childrens. Otherwise it is nice. just did not meet the expectation

Right off the gates: It's just like any other incenses. The smell is not overpowering. I have an excellent incense box that slows down the burning particles. Also, I have a well-ventilated area so it helps diffusing it without too much smoke. ( some people just don't know how to use incense and then blame it on the product. I'll repeat it again " IT'S INCENSE !! ) The smoke is gray and it does "remind" you of the camphor smell at first, but once you light up it has a different smell. I didn't buy this product in particular for the camphor smell. I just wanted to try a different incense. Overall rating is AN AVERAGE BUY AND AN AVERAGE PRODUCT. I may or may not buy it again. I hope that makes sense, it's incense... Sorry, cheesy joke.
