Reàl Syrup | Coco Reàl | Cream of Coconut | 500ml

Bought this as a cheaper and more shelf stable version of coco lopez which i was using previously. I find it tastes great in a painkiller or pina colada, coconut margaritas are also fire with this stuff. Keeps well on the shelf too so that helps, great stuff for the home bar.

Brilliant for making pina colados

When making piña colada cocktails at home, you really need to get your hands on some Coco Reàl Cream of Coconut because it really is the best one you can find. First of all, it really tastes good. Rich, sweet and authentic. Second of all, the texture is wonderfully thick, which gives your mixed drink a great creamy taste as you would normally get in a bar. The main benefit of this cream of coconut is that you don’t have to use traditional canned products that separate in two layers: fat and syrup. Instead, you use a squeeze bottle that doesn’t require any work like spooning the product from a tin or whisking to get an emulsion back. You pour the product and blend right away.

Really great makes pina colada the best flavour

I bought this coconut cream to make Pina Coladas (I've attached a picture of a Pina Colada I made using it for reference). Having worked in bars that used this product previously, I knew it was good. It tastes great, has a good consistency (though it can be stubborn to get the last of it out of a bottle, or out of a jigger), and it has a good balance of coconut flavouring and sweetness. The ONLY drawback is the price. I get that it is shipped over from America, but the mark-up is still high.

Absolutely love this coconut cream, great consistency for the jigger, now I can make perfect cocktails at home. Love that it is easy to squeeze the bottle, shake well first. Perfect tasting Pina Colada’s at home. Definitely won’t be buying anything other than this.

This has a nice coconut flavour - albeit not very strong. It is incredibly sweet. I will use half the recipe quantity next time.

Separation and Prep: Just a heads-up that because it’s a natural product, it often separates in drinks. You usually need to give it a very good shake or a quick stir to get it back to that perfectly smooth consistency before drinking. Bottom Line: This is a simple but highly effective way to level up your cooking and drinks. It is reliable, tastes great, and has become a must-have in my pantry and the only way I consume rice anymore. So good!
