Ditch the waste and do fountain pens!
I love how SMOOTH they write even though they are "stub" nibsI love how they have the shape to hold the barrel just right....very comfortableI love how lightweight they areI love that I can refill the cartridges (they sell more but I'm trying to decrease the landfills in every little way--if everyone did, can you imagine?!)The pen referenced in the photo I filled a converter with Noodlers ink, but the other 2 are written with the ink cartridges that came with them

Good for What They Are
I purchased these to work on my brush/hand lettering. I am about 6 months into my hand lettering journey, so I consider myself a beginner. These are great that they have a hard, fine point. But if you’re looking for that true “bubbly” or “brush lettering” result, these may not be the best choice. That said, for what these pens were intended for, they’re good. 7/10 would repurchase

Thirsty Brush~!**
This is my first Neptune brush, and I bought the size 4,the size of this baby compares to my Princeton Snap brush size 20 So obviously dipping back into watercolors after quite a long break I definitely need to figure out the sizing...so I purchased a size 6 Princeton Neptune brush and that too is huge...lol, So I purchased an 8 and that is comparable with my size 8-10 in the Princeton Heritage accidentally ordered 2 but love the size, and has pretty decent snap for loose florals. it is a very thirsty brush, I like, but believe if your new to watercolor there is a learning curve with this brush, but I'm enjoying playing with it and am going to keep both of the size 8's~~!!**

Writes beautifully, vibrant colors
I would not say these are for beginning calligraphers, as they are a bit hard to get used to. However, as someone who writes in calligraphy style script often, they are wonderful. I do not, however, know the purpose of that random black marker in the package. It does not seem to go at all, and seems like an afterthought.

Easy to use
I had ordered a calligraphy set with cartridges! It was awful. These pens are great!

None compare
Aside from barrel cracking on the 2.4 mm after only a month and some leakage from the 6.0 mm, they are great! I plan on getting more for modifying, hoping the barrel issues were a fluke.

Fun and easy to use
Easy to pick up and use once you get the ink flowing. Do recommend to try out on different styles of paper for best flow. Regular printer and notebook paper don’t take the ink as well but I’ve come to find Sketchbook paper, mixed media, and Bristol work the best to get nice even flow for the inks.

Great fun, great little kit.
I’d describe these as easy to use and great fun to experiment with. The thin plastic sheet for cleaning can easily slip out of the kit or go lost so be careful to locate it and keep it somewhere safe. The tiny pamphlet is very basic and won’t teach anybody much about calligraphy techniques, BUT I don’t believe that’s what makes this kit noteworthy. The number of cartridges and three pens seem to be worth the reasonable price. I’ve been having fun drawing with these pens.

Such a fun way to explore fountain pen writing and drawing
I am really impressed with this little kit; after not using fountain pens for years, I wanted to see if it still interested me but didn't want to spend a lot to find that out. This kit gives you three nibs and pens and 15 cartridges as well as a converter for ink. The pens themselves are not that expensive, but the nibs are of very good quality and will work with other Pilot fountain pens, too. The ink cartridges come in fun colours -- the blue and pink are very pretty and the actual colour is quite dense. Super happy with the quality and contents of this kit.

Incredible value (at time of writing)
Best price available at time of writing (36$). You get the full color range of inks plus 12 black ink cartridges. Those inks alone are worth about 8$, which isn't much, but in store one pen sells for 18$. If the price stays the same, I may need to purchase two more sets!Update: I got one more set, will likely get a third in a few weeks!

Excellent kit for beginner and intermediate hand lettering and cursive writing practice.
I like this set and the supplied ink cartridges. The set works well and is at a good price point.A lot of fun to be had, from beginner to advanced levels of cursive writing and hand lettering.May also work well for sketching, but I don’t have any expertise in that area.If you are a beginner, try out this kit and have some fun with it.The starter guide is interesting but a little light on information.I would have preferred a better guide or an online forum that would a good starter guide for new users.
