It’s everything I wanted it to be. No nonsense. Fast. Reliable. Decently priced. Works with my Mac in a hub for my Mac Studio. Everything is perfectly compatible and I haven’t noticed any issues with heat at all. It’s perfect for what I needed it for.

Great NVME! I got this ssd as same day delivery, since I forgot to buy one when building my computer, and it did not dissapoint. It's as fast as advertised, and it doesn't stutter when gaming. Fast start-up too. It's also priced rather fairly, given today's market (2026). This is what I'd consider a win.

This drive is over twice as quick as the drive which was originally installed in my old Thinkpad. Over 1300 MB/S read speeds on this old laptop, apparently. Plenty for me. And, should be even quicker on a more modern laptop; but you don't _need_ it any quicker. (Can't wait for the LLM hype-train to crash and we can have reasonable prices again... this 1TB cost me more than twice what I paid for a 2TB maybe three years ago... :( )

I installed the Kingston NV3 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD in my Dell Inspiron 3670 desktop and it works perfectly at this time. This was a upgrade to my slow mechanical drive that came with the desktop. Of interest is that dell specs for that machine says up to 512 gigabyte storage on the M.2 NVMe SSD PCI slot, but the machine excepted the 1 TB dirve with no problems. Also, I did not make any changes in my bios as some online had suggested might need to be done. In my case, I had made a image of my current mechanical drive using windows legacy (win 7) image create , unpluged the old drive , installed the new Kingston NV3 1 TB drive , booted up on a windows 11 restore/install thumb drive using dell F12 key at boot, booting to the thumb drive, and using the restore from a image file. I had saved the image on a 2 TB usb drive and pointed the restore function to that drive and the image. The image was installed to the Kingston drive and was formatted to receive the exact duplicate of my windows image. Windows booted up perfectly on the new drive. There are lots of videos on YouTube of this process. I hope some of this information helps. Anyway, so far, I am happy with the results of the Kingston NV3 1 TB drive.

I’m very happy with this hard drive. It was easy to install, was recognized immediately by my computer, and has been working flawlessly. The transfer speeds are solid, and it provides plenty of storage for my files, photos, and backups. It offers excellent value for the price, and I would definitely purchase it again.

This is legit for the price. Loading speeds are super fast. Strictly using it for my operating system and a few programs and I am very happy with how it makes my PC perform.

I’ve had the Kingston NV3 (1TB) as my primary drive for about ten months now, and I can finally give a "real" report on it. When you first install an SSD, they’re all fast, but the real test is how they handle being 70% full after nearly a year of daily use. ​The Long-Term Verdict: ​Still Feels Snappy: Even after ten months of OS updates, game installs, and constant file shuffling, I haven't noticed any "lag" or slowdown in boot times. Windows still loads in seconds, and apps snappily pop open just like they did on day one. ​Reliability is Solid: I know some people get nervous about "budget" NVMe drives, but I’ve had zero crashes, zero "drive not found" errors, and no corrupted files. For a mid-range Gen 4 drive, it’s been rock solid. ​Temperature Stability: Even after a few heatwaves and long gaming sessions, the drive hasn't throttled. I’m running it without a heatsink in a case with decent airflow, and it stays well within the safe zone. ​The "Real World" Observations: ​The "Fullness" Factor: I’ve currently got about 800GB filled on this 1TB drive. Usually, DRAM-less drives start to chug a bit when they get close to capacity, but the NV3 handles it surprisingly well.
