This DIY Unicorn terrarium kit has been a really good crafty activity for my niece to do, shes enjoyed every moment.This arrived nicely packaged in a colourful box, and inside was plenty of things... 3 colors of magic sand. preserved mosses. 13-colored LED night light with remote control. 2pcs Unicorn miniatures. decorative accessoriesWhen making, the sand gets a little messy but i would say that's just part of the fun of it.This did take her a while to do but she was so happy with the end result and she has now displayed this in her bedroom with pride.When lit up it looks really magical.At the time of reviewing this, it is priced at £17.72 and will make a great gift.I highly recommend, i definitely would get this again but in a different design. 😊

I requested this item to add to my pile of toys that I’m planning to give to a local charity who delivers presents to struggling families at Christmas.Positives: Arrived neatly packed in an attractive box with suitable age guidance and safety warning. Acrylic jar with a cork lid, which the light sits in. Lots of accessories, as per the photos. Clear instruction booklet. Works with remote control. Craft activity to encourage creativity, using instructions and fine motor skill development.Negatives: Light requires x3 AAA batteries, which are not supplied. The bag of pink sand was damaged on arrival.I’m not a big fan of stereotypical girls’ crafts but this one is very good. I’ve reviewed a few similar items and I’d say that this one compares favourably. The big downside is that it needs batteries to work; it would be much better if it was USB rechargeable. Considering the resources, entertainment and creativity that this product offers, I’d consider it value for money. Better still, it’s an item that can be used when the activity is completed. This would make a lovely present and I recommend it, despite my dislike of unicorns and girly toys!

The unicorn terrarium craft kit comes presented in a sturdy, colourful cardboard box with pictures of the contents and some ideas of how to arrange the terrarium.Inside the box is everything needed to make a little unicorn paradise in an acrylic bowl with a lid.The lid has a light (needs 3 x AAA batteries) in it that in controlled by a little remote control unit and it can be changed to 13 different colours.A great little craft kit for ages 3 years +( adult supervision will be needed for children at the younger end of the age range).

This DIY Unicorn terrarium kit was a hit with my 9-year-old daughter! She loved creating it, and it now proudly sits on her desk. The kit includes different colours of magic sand which was a bit tricky to use (I'm still hoovering it from my carpet), a changing LED night light with handy remote control, and two unicorn miniatures which are super cute. Lots of other accessories included too and all seemed good quality. While it wasn’t the easiest project to complete, the challenge made it all the more rewarding. It’s a fantastic way for kids to engage in creative play and learn about nature at the same time!

I got this my niece for whilst I was babysitting and she loved making this. She was super excited when we got everything out the box. She especially loved the lights!It comes with all the materials and little pieces and lights, includes a remote which controls the lights and colours.It didn't take long to build but it was a nice half hour and then it is now used as a night light. She loved it.Definitely a great gift for your kids or as a gift. Great value for money.
