Dickies Men's Original 874 Work Pants Business Casual, Charcoal, 34W x 32L

These are just what I wanted because I prefer ongoing predictability of the range rather than following current fashion and wondering if they will fit. I measure my waist at 32" and the 32" waist trousers fit me well and I know that when I reorder someday those will fit too. It worked to go slightly longer on the leg length seeing as they do sit higher than many modern styles. They also fit over my calves well; I am hardly well-built but some more modern "tailored"- or "straight"-leg trousers can kind of get caught. The material feels some thick and rough but the trousers feel comfortable and I expect them to be hard-wearing. The belt loops are wide and the zipper and clasp are metal. My only complaint is the side pocket shape: they are deep but they taper so each holds not much more than one rectangular thing.

The quality ive come to expect from Dickies at a very competitive price.

These trousers are robust, good thick material and they fit UK sizing as expected. They feel good to wear and they also look smart. The only slight doubt I have is over the clasp at the waist, but time will tell and the zip feels tough. Good side pockets for depth - the back pocket is not so deep but I haven't lost anything out of it. But overall, these are the best trousers I have owned for a long time, so if like me you have been disappointed with internet trousers before, try these - well worth the money - I recommend you give these a try.

A little smaller than the size but brilliantly made and look great

Shockingly small. These are not true to size as in waist, length seem to alright. If youre getting these, get a bigger size. Now i have to wait to send off. Which is UPS if youre from the UK, wait for the money to go back into my amazon account to reorder. I realise this may not be such an issue if you are able to just repurchase and then wait for the money back into your bank but because i am using a gift voucher the process is far too long before I can get a bigger size. The whole ordeal is bad.

Returned the item as too small. These fit like a pair of suit trousers and not jeans. I ordered 36 waist as that is what all my jeans are but these were way too small. They are designed to fit higher up like a pair of proper trousers and there is no give in the material at all. Quality wise they seemed well made and of sturdy material.

I love these trousers. I have a pair of the beige ones and the black ones that I wear them both regularly. I would say the sizing on the 874's are the most true to size of any dickies. Just remember that these need to be washed about three or four times before they fully soften. They're very stiff the first time you get them.

Good quality. I bought a long leg to get the best price and have turned the legs up. People at work (HGV driver on bulk grain) thought I was off to the pub for an evening out, they looked so much smarter than my usual overalls. I bought another pair :)
