Fullstar Handheld - Mandoline Vegetable Slicer & Julienne Cutter 2-in-1

This piece of kitchen equipment is a must for anybody who pickling or jam making a must. I’ve just sliced one and a half kilos of onions today and the ease of slicing that amount of onions was remarkable. After use I just held it under the hot tap to clean it, super fast. For this piece of equipment it was super cheap. If you follow the instructions it is so safe, because that blade is so sharp and you don’t want any accidents. Can’t wait to make the next batch of onion jam.

Reqlly good one, this item has a regulating slicer that is ideal for someone that likes thing just right. Be careful with your fingers as it is very sharp.

Good quality, only slices or shreds, very sharp, easy to use & washes well. Recommend, value for money.

This feels a lot more studied than flimsy ones out there. Extremely sharp which is what we want and an essential in the kitchen. I like it. Buy it on offer.

I have been wanting one of these for ages finally bought one and it’s amazing! Made salads so much quicker to make and no more crying while cutting onions! I really do love it. Seems sturdy and great for dicing vegetables. Not used any of the other cutting options but the dicing one is definitely amazing!

Amazing product, Constructive feedback the movement on the back up down to enable more space could you make it smoother railings for it? Just like a car seat moves front and back with locking in place that would be even more amazing but this works good/exteamly good for now.

Very sharp. Use with Caution, I should have got the holder container to catch the slices but oh well. Not sure how long it will last but perfect for use. Great for strips but not chips. Wish the blade was changeable for when it gets dull?

Super produit ! j'avais déjà un appareil multiple de chez Fullstar que j'adore aussi pour couper en carré et faire des spaghetti mais il manquait la mandoline et la julienne. Ca coupe très bien fait de jolie rondelle fine et des juliennes parfaites . On peut choisir dans les 2 cas l'épaisseur. Je ne doute pas de la solidité car l'autre que j'ai à 4 ans et je l'utilise beaucoup et il est parfait encore

Deze mandoline gebruik ik regelmatig voor het maken van schudsalades en daarvoor is hij echt ideaal. Je kunt de ingrediënten rechtstreeks boven een plastic bakje snijden, waardoor je weinig afwas hebt. De verschillende snijstanden zijn erg handig. Zo kan ik bijvoorbeeld de ui heel fijn snijden, terwijl ik de komkommer juist wat grover laat. Hierdoor kun je de salade precies maken zoals je hem wilt. Het enige minpuntje dat ik na verloop van tijd heb ontdekt, is dat de draaiknop voor het instellen van de mesjes wat lam begint te worden. Tijdens het snijden moet ik deze daarom soms een beetje klemmen. Als je dat doet, werkt hij verder prima. Ondanks dat kleine aandachtspunt ben ik erg tevreden over deze mandoline. Ik gebruik hem dagelijks voor het maken van de salades.

It is working and all grand until cleaning, when clear plastic warped in the dishwasher and now needs a big push to assemble and disassemble etc.

Erster Eindruck & Größe: Im Vergleich zu klassischen, oft recht klobigen Mandolinen ist dieses Handheld-Modell ein ganzes Stück kleiner und kompakter. Das macht den Hobel im Küchenalltag wunderbar handlich und er nimmt im Schrank kaum Platz weg. Schärfe & Schneidleistung: Aber Achtung: Das Gerät ist verdammt scharf! Was auch immer man schneiden möchte, es gleitet ohne jeglichen Widerstand über die Klinge. Ich war beim Testen leider einmal unachtsam und habe den mitgelieferten Fingerschutz nicht benutzt. Das Ende vom Lied: Die Klinge ging ohne großen Druck fast bis auf den Knochen durch meinen Finger – wie durch warme Butter. Nutzt also bitte unbedingt von Anfang an den Schutzaufsatz! Die Schärfe der Edelstahlklingen ist absolut brutal, aber eben auch genau das, was man von einem Top-Hobel erwartet. Handhabung der Einstellungen (Mein Tipp): Die verschiedenen Stärken und die Julienne-Funktion arbeiten bei der richtigen Einstellung perfekt. Man sollte jedoch je nach Gemüseart ein wenig ausprobieren: -Bei weicherem Schneidgut wie Tomaten oder Gurken sollte man die Streifenoption nicht zu flach einstellen, da das Gemüse sonst schnell zu Matschebrei gedrückt wird. -Wählt man jedoch die passende Stufe für das jeweilige Gemüse, wird auch hier alles absolut sauber und mühelos in perfekte Stücke zerteilt. Fazit: Ein fantastischer, kompakter Küchenhelfer mit einer herausragenden Schneidleistung. Er tut genau das, was er soll, und das extrem effizient. Aufgrund der enormen Verletzungsgefahr sollte man aber niemals leichtsinnig werden und immer den Fingerschutz parat haben. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
