SAMYANG Spicy Hot (2x Spicy) Chicken Flavour Ramen Noodles, Pack of 5

I enjoy spicy food, regularly tucking into a BabaNaga Curry (naga chillies) at my local curry house (hotter than madras), so I went for the (2x Spicy) to try... These noodles are tasty and Hot... if you have a low spice tolerance I would advise you to try the normal 1xspicy variety first, or avoid altogether! The heat was pretty instant and left my mouth and lips tingling for a good 10mins after finishing the bowl. Thoroughly enjoyed them, I have to say I'm glad I went for the 2xSpicy before jumping into the deepend with the 3xSpicy... I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle them, but i'll try them at some point. Overall if you like spicy food, you'll love these not only very hot but also tasty!

This is actually so yummy and has a long expiration date. Delivery was quick, and I even got an extra pack by accident—so thank you for that! If you’re wondering about the spice level, I only add a tiny bit of the sauce because it’s extremely spicy. Adding a bit of cheese helps tone it down for me. Overall, it’s really delicious and not a scam—I haven’t gotten food poisoning (yet) 😂

Although popular as the fire noodle challenge on YouTube 🔥, for personal use I find these noodles really nice. They are thicker and have more bite than other noodles of this type as long as you don't over cook them, leave a few table spoons full of water in the pan before you add the sachets, it helps the flavours mix better , the sachets are a sauce and a chilli seeds and flakes. The seeds are very small and you don't really notice them when eating, but you will definitely notice the added heat they give. They are very spicy , if you're not used to eating spicy food then they maybe too hot, if you are used to hot spicy Curry's and meals with plenty of chillies in then you may actually really enjoy these noodles as a tasty spicy snack as i do. After eating the whole bowl my mouth is burning and the burn will last a good 5 mins before it starts to settle down. If you want to get rid of the burning sensation then a large glass of milk or a yogurt will settle it down quicker. I love these noodles you get quite a lot in each block at 140g with 5 in the pack altogether, I'll definitely be buying more and highly recommend if you like the odd spicy snack 🔥🔥🔥

Okay so I'll be honest I've tried the sauce before but used it in different noodles, so I added only half the pack of sauce 😂 but all of the seeded packet. Just because I wanted to enjoy it. I'll be doing a whole sachet in my next bowl lol. "It wasn't that bad though" is somthing I can say after my mouth and tongue went back to normal temperature. Even though it wasn't the whole packet, it still had a little heat lol. I'd advise drinking anything (ice water) to a minimum. Don't lick ya lips too tough either that just adds to the heat fr. Just eat 😅 It has 4 stars because I had to add salt, pepper and soy sauce to add flavour. Else it would of been a slightly dead flavour in my opinion. I guess the flavours minimal, because of how hot they are you'll barely be tasting any flavour. Or is you can't taste the flavour because of the how hot they are.. either way I thought I needed a little more flavour. The noodles themselves are nice. Not thick or thin just nice. Nice texture aswell. Definitely be buying other flavours.

If you are new to spicy food I would proceed with caution. These are very tasty noodles if you like it hot but probably have zero taste and just heat if you don't eat anything spicy. I would say in comparison these are as hot as an average Phall Indian curry from your local takeaway. But it hits differently, the burn is mostly on the tounge and top of the mouth and can be slightly sharp compared to curry which is more of a constant dull burn. You can make them slightly milder by adding soft boiled jammy eggs which makes it a very tasty meal.

These are, without fail, the best spicy noodles on the market. Don't get me wrong, when I say spicy I mean VERY spicy. When I first tried them over a year ago, I hurt both inside and outside for at least 24 hours but now I can't get enough of the insane heat. What makes these different though, in my opinion, is that they are extremely tasty once you get used to the heat. My favourite way to prepare them is to add a sliced up chicken breast (pre boiled, yes boiled), half of a sliced onion and half of a sliced green or yellow pepper for the last couple of minutes. This makes it both filling, tasty and nutritious. I'd 100% recommend these noodles (although be prepared for the initial pain!!).

I ordered these mostly as a time killer. I had seen the hype about them on the Internet, watched a few videos of people eating a mouthful and being melted by the heat. So as someone obsessed with spice I was excited to see if these presented me with a challenge. First off, they were easy to cook. Just as you would cook super noodles but you drain the extra water away and add the. "flavour soup" sachet and the "chilli flake" sachet at the end of cooking, after excess water has been chucked. The texture of the noodles is lovley, really silky and moreish and there is a hint of chicken to the flavour...however...the spice let me down. I happily ate the entire bowl of noodles without complaint, there was heat to them no doubt but for the life of me I can't see why they've been called the world's hottest ramen, or understand why people in YouTube videos have acted like their mouth has had lava poured lava into it. The flavour is nice, the texture is nice but they just dont deserve their legendary status and thr price is way too high for a product that doesn't deliver.

Es mas la fama que el sabor del producto... el picante es bueno y tolerante el nivel 1... pero el sabor de la sopa independientemente no es bueno... no la recomiendo.

Never could my comment be as majestic as Kim's comment. However, with complete agreement, this is by far not as hot as the YouTube weenies make it out to be. Although it may not be the right amount of hell-fire I'm looking, this has forever replaced the position in the cabinet once claimed by the majestic Top Ramen Chicken Flavor. The quality of noodles make Top Ramen seem like they may be fake. These noodles are full of flavor when dry, wet, sauced up, warm, and even cold. Top Notch! The only down side is you only get 5 packs for a whopping $9.00; I'm not sure if that's from shipment or the media hype of the Noodle Challenge. To sum it all up: they could be spicier, they are definitely pricey for the amount you get, and they have absolutely become the best spicy ramen I have had despite the real deal from Japan.

Die Schärfe: Das hier ist ein ganz anderes Level. Die "2x Spicy" brennt ordentlich und der Schmerz hält auch eine ganze Weile an. Man sollte definitiv Fan von extrem scharfem Essen sein, sonst hat man hier keinen Spaß. Der Geschmack: Trotz der extremen Hitze schmeckt man immer noch das typische Buldak-Aroma (leicht süßlich, rauchig) heraus. Es ist nicht einfach nur scharf, sondern schmeckt tatsächlich gut – sofern man die Schärfe toleriert. Die Nudeln: Die Qualität der Nudeln ist wie gewohnt top. Sie sind schön dick, behalten einen guten Biss und nehmen die Sauce perfekt auf. Vorratsgröße: Das 10er-Pack ist ideal. Man kommt eine Weile damit aus, da man diese Sorte (zumindest ich) nicht unbedingt jeden Tag essen kann. Mein Tipp: Wer es etwas abmildern will, kann ein wenig Käse oder ein Spiegelei dazu geben. Das nimmt die Spitze, lässt den Geschmack aber wirken. Fazit: Absolut solide 5 Sterne für alle Schärfe-Junkies. Lieferung war schnell, Packung kam unbeschädigt an. Wer die Herausforderung sucht, ist hier genau richtig!
