Odele Vegan Leave-In Conditioner, Hydrate & Control Frizz, 8 fl oz (2-Pack)

I have type 2b wavy hair that is down to my butt. I have very fine hair, but alot of it... im a wash and go girl, air dry almost always. I get an oily scalp but my ends are always so dry! I have purchased COUNTLESS leave in conditioners... its a 10, Marc Anthony, you name it... and they all have left my hair waxy with no benefit. My hair gets poofy and frizzy, so i needed something that would actually hydrate a bit. I was just about to give up on it, and then I found this. This is perfect! I can put it in my hair after the shower, wake up the next day, and its like nothing was even in my hair! I can reapply anytime I want, and it really does make my hair so soft! I pretty much always wear my hair in a long braid, but even this almost makes it too soft even for that! I really love this stuff! The smell is natural but very pleasant. It isn't cloying. I can literally just take one pump per each side of my hair and its plenty, even for my super long hair! The price point is also fantastic! Will definitely be purchasing again! Im glad I finally found something that works for my hair! Give it a shot! Take it from someone who is now in her 30s, and even for having very long hair, was late to the taking care of her hair game other than the basics. Also, after the leave in, I usually apply argan oil just to my last 3 inches. After starting to use this, it actually has enhanced the way my oil works! The oil actually soaks in now rather than just sitting on my ends :) buy it if you're like me. You wont be disappointed!

HEAR ME OUT. Odele leave in does not have a peptide in it that repairs the hair on a molecular level, no. but if you love how your hair feels immediately after using k-18, thats not from the peptide, its from the emollient base and odele's emollient base is very very similar to k-18. I enjoy taking baths so using a leave in conditioner instead of a rinse out conditioner is a quality of life hack. even if you take showers its nice that when you get out your hair isn't entirely soaked from freshly rinsing conditioner out. unlike k-18 you want to apply a bit more of this product and while your hair is still quite wet. apply some oil to the lengths of your hair like argan or jojoba and you are left with hair that even after air drying is noticeably better. this product would even work great as a k-18 companion, use on the days youre not using k-18. unfortunately you can't mix them together because they need to be applied with the hair at different stages of wetness. the scent is somewhat reminiscent of marc jacobs daisy but less floral more grass. it smells very grassy but its a super light fragrance unlike k-18 that has a strong fragrance. the scent when it dries down is very very faint but a little bit cheap perfumey. its faint though so its very easy to mask with whatever other hair products you use or just wait a bit and the smell is gone. I do suggest using a deeply fragrant shampoo when you use this as a replacement for conditioner if you like having hair thats still fragrant at the end of the day or so. easy to find and easy to do. the emollient ingredients are structurally the same as k-18 though the product has more water content so its not as paste like as k-18. frizz is smoothed, hair has a natural shine level easily enhanced by oil and finishing sprays like color wow. while frizz is smoothed the hair it still left with volume, voluminous even, and not overly weighed down. and at $12... its just incredibly worth giving it a chance!

I've been loyal to a different leave-in product since 2010 that I've been purchasing secondhand from online resellers for nearly triple the MSRP because it's been discontinued since 2014, and I've done this for years because it was the only leave-in product that managed my hair with no adverse textural effects (important). I am constantly on the hunt for some kind of leave-in product that is lightweight, affordable, and undetectable. My hair is fine in texture, low in porosity, and difficult to manage; my curl pattern is 2C when long (back of head) and 3A when cut shorter (curtain bangs). I am of pure Spanish descent. My hair is color-treated on the ends because I am growing that out. New growth is untouched. Although my hair is fine in texture, I do have a lot of it. You can imagine how quickly I go through products, so I needed to find an alternative solution that would be good for daily use. It was a nice surprise to find that such a thin cream could hydrate as well as it did. The amount of product you get for the price is what you'd expect from any drugstore brand, but the quality is superior. The most important factor for me is texture. I don't like gels or mousses because they make the hair artificially shiny and uncomfortably crunchy, but I also don't like when leave-in products (styling products included) are too heavy on the hair. I like that this Odele product actually sinks in to my hair instead of sitting on top of it. I find that a lot of products for curls use very heavy oils (coconut, shea, etc.) that my hair simply cannot absorb, but there is no such problem here. My curls are moisturized and naturally defined with no change to texture or feel. This product is scented but not perfumed. I would describe the scent as very earthy and botanical -- not floral, but green. Reminds me of a product you might find in a trendy boutique-type of salon. Although the smell is nothing I care for, it's better than the stereotypical tropical scents that companies love to give their curl products. I do like perfumed products, but the scent does not linger and allows my perfumed conditioner to come through once dry. If your hair is like mine, I think this is a great place to begin and end your quest for a real nice leave-in.

it does smooth your hair, however my hair falls a lot more ever since I started using this product.

Works great. Leaves hair soft and you can comb right through.You only use just about a dimes worth in the palm of your hand. I dry my hair as normal and it is not greasy or flat looking and I have long hair.

This stuff is hands-down, the absolute best leave-in conditioner I've ever used, and I have used A LOT of them! From low-end drug store stuff, all the way up to $40 Unite 7-Second Detangler. Typically I prefer a spray leave-in, but this stuff is the exception. It's lightweight, doesn't build up, you can use a lot of it with no ill effects, and most importantly: It detangles like a DREAM! I have upper back length, fine, wavy to slightly curly hair. Historically, my hair has always been super tangly, most likely due to the wave/curl. This stuff leaves virtually zero tangles in my hair! I'll wash and condition, squeeze out excess water, and apply a very generous amount of leave-in to my hair, followed by wrapping in a microfiber towel. I am then able to brush my hair effortlessly, with no tangles at all. The smell is kind of weird...like herbs, kind of fresh, kind of earthy. I can see how it would possibly be off-putting to some. But, I'm not sensitive to fragrance, and it doesn't linger in the hair once dry. I even find that, washing my hair the next day after using this stuff, my hair is still left feeling detangled even in the shower. I'm on my second 8oz bottle of this, and have the mega 32oz size arriving today! I cannot be without it!! Please, never stop making this!

I have waves and loose curls, and my hair drinks this up. It helps SO much to combat frizz, and doesn't weigh my hair down at all or leave any feeling or residue. I absolutely love it, and the price is a freaking bargain!

I love the subtle fragrance on this and it has left my hair super soft. The bottle is really hard to open the pump. I had to return my first bottle, as the pump would not open. I tried for 30 mins and finally just sent in for a replacement bottle.
