I love this selection of royal and crown shaped cookie cutters! They are a smaller size which I like. They have the outline cookie cutter, and then the press to push the detailed pattern into it for easier decorating.They are a bit of a pain to handwash since cookie dough is rather buttery and you need to get into all the crevices for any stuck dough bits.Overall I like this set a lot.

The cutting tools are good and definitely helpful when carving a pumpkin. I can't attest to the cookie cutter style of use for carving the pumpkin as no one wanted to use them this time. I imagine they may be a bit clumsy and difficult to use though. After pounding them into pumpkin, I can't imagine if it would be easy to push the piece through or not. I think it's helpful that each piece is small including the pieces that make up the mouth so perhaps that would make it easier. The cutters do seem sturdy and it all comes in a convenient zipper bag making it all a good value.
