Came on time, and smelled really good. I wear this every day. Good JPG dupe. It performs well and lasts pretty long. Very sweet smell and very fresh. You can wear for most occasions, but is more summer-like smell. #worthit

I was skeptical but the reviews helped me purchase. It gives off an oily base which I like for the purpose on long lasting smell. It reads “unisex” but this one is more for a man. It gives off a cool and sweet smell. Very pretty bottle.

This is definitely a nice fragrance, just not quite the mind-blowing experience all the hype made it seem like. The scent itself is fresh, smooth, and easy to wear. It has a clean tropical vibe with a slightly sweet, airy feel that works really well for warmer weather or casual daytime use. Very pleasant and definitely mass appealing. Where it fell a little short for me was the overall wow factor. After hearing so much about it, I expected something more unique or memorable. Instead, it smells really good, just a bit more familiar than I was hoping for. Performance is solid, though. Lasts a decent amount of time on skin and even longer on clothes, with enough projection to get noticed without being overpowering. Still a good pickup and easy to recommend if you like fresh versatile scents, I just think the online hype made it sound more special than it actually is. 4 stars because it’s good, just not quite amazing.

Most people find they get around seven to eight hours of wear, if not more, depending on the weather and how much they apply. What’s especially nice about Island is its versatility. It leans slightly masculine with its woody base, but the tropical notes and creamy finish make it feel very unisex. You could wear it to brunch, to the beach, or even on a night out - it adapts to the mood without ever feeling too loud or too plain. I compared this side by side to JPG Le Beau Le Parfum intense and it’s about 95% the same. The big difference is in the type of coconut smell. Island has more of a sweet coconut while jpg has a more smooth and creamy coconut. The iris is prominent in both. I get a solid 4 hours of protection with about 8-10 hours on my clothes, while JPG will stay on my clothes for 2 days. I’m sure once this sits for a while I’ll get a little more longevity, but it’s not bad at all. Atomizer is pressurized so you get a lot of coverage, the bottle is very heavy and feels quality. It is a very unisex smell so ladies and gentlemen you can both enjoy it. My girlfriend steals a couple sprays from time to time. Overall it’s a great fragrance and smells like you paid $150. I will definitely be getting another bottle once I run low.

This thing is a coconut bomb, especially before the dry down. I assumed the other notes in it would break ahead but no, the opening is about 40% pineapple/subtle notes and 60% coconut. Fresh coconut to, not like a toasted or candied coconut, almost organic like sniffing coconut milk and meat, like you walked into a small room and 6 coconuts were cracked open simultaneously as you stepped inside. I myself am ok with coconut, but to love it this much is a big ask. Lastly, much like many summer scents to have dissapointed, it wears off within a relatively quick timeframe, maybe about an hour or less of actual sillage and 5 hours or so of skin scent, which may sound obvious until you consider this is an extrait concentration, meaning it's more potent than the most potent concentration of cologne generally available (parfum) and often diluted to create more volume. Aka supposedly on the level of longevity and sillage as sauvage elixir. Yet despite this woefully underperforms. Not nearly as potent as I'd expect for an extrait. Shame. Don't always believe the hype.

Please let me buy another bottle then discontinue this fragrance because it’s THAT worthy of being gatekept holy!😭🙏🏽 nah or increase the price so not everybody can afford it, it’s too good. Why even buy the original at this point?
