It's not bad
PROS:- It's nice to find an advent that offers crystals.- The tear tabs are easy to use.- It comes with necklaces for all the crystals.MIDDLE:- The advent has a Christmas image on it which fits the holiday. It's just a little kid like.- The crystal slots are 1 1/2 inches so these aren't large crystals.CONS:- One large section of the advent was already partially torn and popped out. Luckily it was just the section holding the necklaces and not one of the days.

Box Contents Unclear but Nice Diversity
I appreciate the effort to educate and provide kids, or adults, with beautiful gemstones from the earth, to be discovered each day before an upcoming holiday. Yet, I also would have rather seen even more congruency between the gemstones advertised and the ones in the box, as well as their identifying labels with the right gemstones, etc. I was looking forward to receiving this, but sadly my love for the rocks unfortunately became overwhelmed temporarily by some confusion.I enjoy jewelry and thought that the included 12 necklaces and 12 bracelets were a great idea. Some of my favorite stones were sodalite, amethyst, and dalmation jasper, which were all correctly marked. Yet, I was sad that I was unable to find any stones that I identify as “emerald” or “carnelian” in my kit (both were advertised online).I did find other stones in my box (not listed online or in the box), such as unakite, red jasper, and strawberry quartz. I suggest being careful with some of the stones that appear to be dyed, or you may find your kids with some colorful stains on their skin and clothing. I understand that kids will have fun with the colors, textures, and dressing up, but I, myself, would not want to confuse kids too much, with any possible misinformation as they learn about their environment. It was sad to discover, as well, the appearance of regular mix ups with stone identifications online, such as mahogany obsidian with “Rhodonite”, tiger’s eye with “Red Obsidian”, kiwi jasper with “Tianshan Jade”, and picture rock with “Southern Jade”. In fact, the online product page labels 5 different stones with the same exact title “Southern Jade” repetitively, whereas the included brochure only lists 1 “Southern Jade” gemstone name. After researching a bit, I now think it is more likely there would be rather 1 Southern Jade stone, while the rest of the 5 rocks are often identified by other names. I was pleased that most of the stones were smooth and polished, except for my red jasper, which I thought looked quite beat up, detached from its bail, and not really fit to be included in this box. Despite this, I believe kids could have hours of fun opening up one gemstone at a time, with this Advent Calendar.

Nice set of "crystal" pendants
We ordered these mainly for the pendants to use in making jewelry. Although technically an advent calendar, the calendar part is pretty basic - just the box with perforations. The 24 "crystals" are a mixture of actual stone and colored glass, which is fine given the price. All the "crystals" were in good shape, not scratched or chipped. One had come out of it's setting, but again, not a big deal as it could be glued back in. The set also included 12 necklace sized cords and 12 bracelet (?) sized cords with clasps. Overall, a nice variety of pretty "crystals" with some extras.

Advent calendar stone necklaces
A set of necklace stones and lanyards/chains to be opened once per day in December leading up to Christmas. Also includes a small guide. The stones are about an inch and a quarter long plus the metal rings at the top. The box has cutouts for each day. I had to open the end early to take the pictures. A few of the stones had jumped to other compartments. Also the big compartment with the guide and lanyards/chains is not labeled. So you might need to open it and straighten things out before gifting it. Overall a nice set for the money.

Great Advent Calendar
I absolutely love this Advent Calendar for 2024. I do collect crystals and appreciate the bracelet and necklace holders for the gemstones. Also each gemstone has a metal holder to attach to the necklace. I also appreciate the enclosed gem list that tells me what each stone represents. I will be wearing individual stones daily. Very giftable. Perfect for me.

Wide assortment of colors
Very pretty, the colors look infused like they are plastic. But they are not plastic. I am not sure if I believe they are actually crystals or glass. They come with individual chains, not the best quality. Beware of choking Hazzard for small children.

Good for the price
The media could not be loaded. It's an excellent set for what it is. Some are genuine stones, and some seem to be plastic/glass. They come with a list of what they mean and what they are used for and bands to attach them and wear them as necklaces. One was out of its settings, but it was easy to fix. The box can also be opened on the side to check all the gems and then be put back in to use it as intended. My daughter is currently into this, and this set will be a perfect Advent calendar for her.
