This Advent Calendar 2024 for Kids Boys, 24 Days Christmas Countdown Calendar with Cute Pull-Back cars and trucks by HozHoy is something we LOVE! I know it's an Advent Calendar, but we have a special occasion coming up in a few weeks and I decided to use it to count down to that. So, we have been having fun with it now. Each day the excitement is palpable-- which car or truck will be in today's box?? I feel so proud of myself because I even made it so that we would open one door each day AFTER chores and homework are done. (I may get another advent calendar for another time because this is a GREAT motivator!!!) I have to admit, I'm just as excited to see what each day reveals.The vehicles are more sturdy than I thought they would be. They are hard plastic with metal axels and some screws to hold them together. They are nicely painted and the stickers are put on straight and in the right places. They have a pull-back auto-propelled mechanism. If you pull back just a little, it will go about one foot, but if you pull back extra, it will go over 10 feet. Our record so far is 15.5 feet. And, they don't go in a boring straight line, they serpentine all over the place. There's no telling where they will end up. We are having so much fun trying to go to certain places and hit items we put down on the floor. And, oh, yes, the cat loves it too! He has gotten into the act of chasing the vehicles and knocking them around. We are having fun with races now that we have a few vehicles out to play. And, our contest is-- whoever gets a vehicle to go the farthest wins a special prize. It takes some skill and has even gotten the older kids (8-15 years old) involved in trying to figure out the science behind trajectories and movement arcs.There is a fun track that comes on the package. We found that if you set the box on the floor and open up the track, it makes a ramp that the vehicles will fly off if you get just the right speed and angle. The numbered boxes are easy for the older kids to open. The 3 and 4 year olds need a bit of help to grab the vehicles out of the plastic containers that hold them in place behind the winter holiday picture. I think by the time the 24 days are up, they will be pros at it. I like that even when you get the vehicle out, if you did it right, you can re-close the doors to see the picture and numbers... AND I can reuse the box, put other items in each day's container, and we can use it for a real Advent Calendar at Christmastime.As part of the review, "help customers find the right toy"-- we have a range of ages and so I took the average age to be 8 years old. The toy is great for all our ages, like I said, it's even something the teens have gotten into... and the cat :)We are so glad we got this and I can highly recommend this item.

I always had an advent calendar for my grandchildren. Now I am on great grandchildren and I am sure they will enjoy it.

The "Advent Calendar 2024 for Kids Boys, 24 Days Christmas Countdown Calendar with Cute Pull-Back Cars Vehicles" is the perfect advent calendar for my car loving 2 year old. He loves pull back cars and the advent calender has 24 different types of cars in it. The cars are good quality plastic and seem fairly durable for the price. Overall I highly recommend this advent calendar.

I saw a tiktok about using advent calendars as potty training rewards for #2. Maybe my toddler was going to be an angel and figure it out but I think between potty books and getting a car after pooping it clicked. I'd buy a dozen if it means he gets potty trained
