I've tried a few different clear mascaras over the years. This is the first one that's actually a thicker gel. It stays on my lashes rather than dripping off. It seems to hold my lashes like hair gel instead of doing absolutely nothing like other brands. I hope CoverGirl decides to make a lightly tinted version for those who like the clear formula but not regular thick mascara.
