Why is there no sound when playing music or using CarPlay?

Sound routes through the Audi AUX system. Use your MMI knob: Go to Original Audi Menu > Media > Source > select "AUX". If your car has an AMI port in the glovebox, you MUST plug the included AMI-to-AUX adapter cable into it to hear audio.
