I was really sceptical of whether this was just a gimmick and it would actually solve our issue.Our issue was - every day we use ice, so we had to make ice every day for the next day, which take time, effort and generally makes a mess. We were always running out because the last person did not refill the ice trays and or it takes half a day to make new ice. Also the ice making trays take a lot of room in the deep freezer for very little ice, and we have to buy in ice when we have a drinks party.No more, I dedicated the smallest tray in the deep freeze to ice only. When the ice is getting low, I just turn the machine on and it will make ice until I turn it off. All I have to do it take the newly made ice out of the ice collection bucket and put it in the deep freeze tray.It has made the whole ice issue go away. Now we always have ice, no mess, and we have enough for any drinks party.One of my best ideas!!

After a month of working (great ice cubes) it is now making quite a lot of noise - have tried to contact the supplier but can't find a way

The media could not be loaded. Worked ok for a few days , now makes a horrendous screech , sounds like the pump is broke .

This machine replaces our old bullet-style ice maker, which had become increasingly unreliable. The external water tank is easy to refill and monitor, especially when making large batches of ice. As others have noted, the ice is produced in a single sheet, but it breaks apart easily into individual cubes using a three-pronged ice pick.The cubes are more durable than the bullet-style ones—they melt more slowly and look much better in a glass. The only downside was that the unit arrived with a European 2-pin plug, which I had to replace with a UK 3-pin plug.

Loving this for ease of use and the fact it makes little cubes of ice rather than the standard bullets. Just fill with water, switch on, set the time per batch and off it goes. Makes a rack of cubes in as little as 20 minutes. These come out like a chocolate bar pattern and easily break apart into individual cubes. They can be stored in the tray or constantly removed and transferred to the freezer or ice boxes. Excellent little ice maker for the home.

Unfortunately not the best as the ice fall down in a big tray nit cubes ..so we have. To break it manually in pieces...so end up in chunks ice parts instead of clear square ice
