El Fuego Tulsa Charcoal Grill, 34.2 x 34.2 x 21.5 cm

The concept is great but the grill rack is either too high or this BBQ isn’t powerful enough. Meat and sausages don’t get crispy. I tried it on 3 occasions and even bought the expensive Lotus smokeless coal but the marinaded loin chops remained sticky and not crispy browned. Sausages took ages - 20 min? Leaving it on the grill for longer only meant the meat got tough.Obviously- it’s supposed to be smokeless but even when using normal or smokeless coal you don’t get the smokey BBQ flavour. It took 30 min for the coal to be ready so it is NOT the quick solution as advertised. Might as well use a gas grill. Instructions come in German only - no photos so you need to be fluent in German. Returned for full refund with no issues.

I need to experiment a bit more with this but the first impression is pretty good. I wanted to buy a lotus but is just very expensive and I didn't know if this kind of design is for me, so I didn't want to spend all that kind of money. I finally decided to buy a cheaper clone and if I decide I like this kind of grills I'll be happy to spend the money in the lotus when this one fails.This one had no reviews when I bought it; yeah I like living in the edge :) but I found reviews in Amazon Germany, the lotus is German so I though this might be available and popular there.Let me tell you this piece of equipment is nice, solid she with a sleek design. I haven't sent a lotus in person but I cannot imagine it's much better than this one. This I've just looks good, but then the price also helps, not sure if I would think the same if I had paid over a hundred quid for this or for a lotus.

I bought this for my Hubby, who said that now the kids have flown the coop he didn't want to get the big gas bbq out all the time. takes ages to set up and clean just for two. So I saw this and bought it, he loves it. Loves it so much he uses it when kids come round as well. He likes the idea that we can have this on the table and cook and eat at the same time.would recommend this to anyone.

Really poor performer hardly get hot enough to cook on cools even quickerinstructions all in Germani used this twice with different charcoal to make sure i had done it right with no diiference what so everi would not buy thisbeing returned

the build quality is fine, however the charcoal holder is not very big so a bit limited in heat power. Maybe alright for cooking one person portion, but doubt for multi portion

Slight hiccup in that the USB cable was missing but Amazon sorted immediately. This bbq is fantastic for those of us enduring city living but longing for a summer bbq. We are only first use (played safe with burgers rather than cote de boeuf) but it is so easy, smoke free and efficient can’t wait to use it again!
