Where has this tool been all my life? I must've made well over 1000 cuts so far with this pruner. Aside from maintenance pruning, I use it to cut trimmings down to size to fit my fire pit. It cuts 1" thick fresh branches easily. Not quite so on old dead wood depending on its hardness . This is one of those tools you wish you've had for the last 50 years. Obviously you must take care to keep your fingers clear of the cutting blades. It comes with a spare set of blades but so far I've just sharpened the first set after I accidentally cut some wire fencing. You won't regret buying this pruner.

This clipper really works and gets allot of work done fast. If you can get the blades around it, you can cut it. Even with thicker branches you can chip your way through. I'm sold on this one.

Was pleasantly surprised with this pruner. It worked awesome and is very good on battery consumption, made almost 100 cuts on first time using it and still had full battery charge. The only bad thing I've found is I wish I had got one sooner.

This device is amazing - does the job of both my pruners and in most cases my lopers. Effortless and powerful. I pruned continuously for nearly an hour and the battery was still at least 75%. I'm very happy with the product so far.

Seems to work fine, as I use it most every day. Not as fast as my previous unit but just as powerful. So far I've been cutting up to 1 - 1 1/2" branches with no problem. It's definitely compatible with Dewalt 20v batteries.

Will not cut 2 inch branch, but still works well. The 2 inch measurement is measured at the tip of the cutting jaws. That is why I gave it the lower rating.

This cutter is amazingly strong. It can cut through branches 1" thick. Very fast and effortless. If you are cutting with a normal hand clipper and think this is worthless, you're wrong. Tasks that used to require gloves and substantial strength. Can now be cut with a light pull of your trigger finger. Batteries last a lot longer than I do. If you're doing any cutting this is a great product. Surprisingly powerful. Ergonomically very comfortable. So far, great quality and longevity. One of the better products I've bought off Amazon.

What a great little device! I wish I had thought of buying one of these when ice storms brought down trees in Ontario 2 years ago - it took me many weeks to cut the pieces into small enough bits to dispose of them. This handy-dandy little thing made short work of cutting up tree branches into sizes small enough to fit into leaf bags. I spent several hours using it and made hundreds of effortless cuts with it and the battery was still showing as full. It has 4 available blade width settings for different size branches, is easy to use and comes with extra blades and slices through even the thickest branches effortlessly.....just make sure to put it down when you are putting cut pieces into bags otherwise you may inadvertently activate the blade as I did! Otherwise, I am very happy with this product and hope to find that it functions as designed for a long time to come...highly recommend!

Reasonably priced, quality tool that works amazingly. Compatible with Milwaukee M18 batteries. Quite happy with the purchase. Includes replacement blades and sharpening stone. Impressive!

Really quick and powerful cutting action. They've gone for days of pruning without changing the battery so far... Nice that it came with extras, like spare blades and a sharpening stone. My wife is pleased with these shears. By making two cuts, I've managed to sever 2 inch branches with it.

OK, this thing is great!!! I'm 72 and have been pruning small orchards, back yard trees, and my own trees for 30 plus years. Apple, pear, cherry, peach, nectarine, the odd Asian apple, hawthorne, and maple, nothing too large. I've never had to use any other pruners than the regular Felco pruners and thought perhaps the electric pruners would be something I'd like. While bulkier, they sure do the job, and quicker. I'd say I'm almost a convert, I still like the hands on touch from time to time and the less bulky hand pruners get into the tight places. I'm not sure of the number of cuts I made, but I pruned in excess of 80 trees. In my opinion these pruners passed the test, with the bonus of using the DeWalt battery I was already familiar with.
