I have taken the AOLEVA Large Size Pretend Play Kitchen Toy Food Set to a community playgroup to see how much the children liked it and whether the adult helpers would consider buying for imaginative play: it was definitely a big thumbs up!The price point is good and watch out for some Amazon deals that make the set more affordable. The set is basic but that doesn’t mean to say that there’s not a lot to talk about and play with, although in the meat section there’s just chicken. Also, some children may not know what an egg plant is. However, you can use the pot and the frying pan to cook, stir and scrape up an egg of flip a pancake (that’s not in the pack, but you can make one yourself!)For under £15 it’s worth purchasing as a making and doing in the kitchen play starter kit. I like it very much and you might too.

Such a cute and realistic set that saved me a lot, but most of all it saved me from taking out my kitchen utensils and bowls for the child to play with. I bought a miniature kitchen as a gift for our little girl, but it seemed quite unused and various objects were always borrowed from the kitchen and I could no longer find them in their place. Now my kitchen is always ready and tidy because my little has objects on a generous size to play with.They are easy for any child to handle, being made of a light plastic, but resistant to pressure or impact at the same time. Our little girl likes them very much and simulates various recipes with her friends when they come to visit us.I recommend with confidence, they are indispensable among the toys of a child who is always curious about what mommy is doing in the kitchen and due to sizes and number of elements I could say that it's a very good value for money.

A lovely quality product with lots of further authority for child play and Montessori learning.The plastic has a really nice texture to it quite satin but smooth. The colour is also quite nice and pastel meaning that they’re not very harsh.The utensils provided I really nice and eased to hold for a child of the age of 2 to 5 upwards.Very nice range of fruit, vegetables and meats for children to learn association and naming.The great thing about the items as well as they all have holes in meaning that bath is possible.For the price and the quality items that you’re getting which is certainly good value for money I’m very impressed. A lovely gift for your own child of those that currently have a kitchen needing more accessories.

All of the pots/pans have holes in the bottom so will not hold water, and the fruit/veg are hollow plastic with an air hole. The quality is very good and there are no rough or sharp edges.My one gripe is that there’s nothing to indicate what type of plastic was used in the manufacture, the grade of the plastic or what safety standards apply. If it is a ‘Bioplastic’ then it should clearly say so in the description – if nothing else, that would be a good selling point to emphasise to eco-conscious buyers.The Safety Warning on the box is, ”Warning: Choking Hazard – Small parts. Not for children under 3 years. For use under adult supervision.”. The ‘Product Information - Technical Details’, advises that the manufacturer’s recommended age for this product is 3-6 months - an obvious error!Young children will love this Kitchen Toy Food Set, and happily spend hours playing with it. It is packaged in a very nice box and would make a great gift - the price at the time of writing is £16.84.
