Another great offering from Nokia
I was a little skeptical about ordering a "new" Nokia. The one I previously used was many years old, one of the earliest of Nokia's "feature" phones, and I particularly liked it because of the total reliability and simplicity, something that I feared may have been lost as phones get ever more advanced. However, it turned out that my fears of it being flimsy, confusing, and unintuitive were unfounded. This phone is as tough and familiar as my old phone- it's certainly one that will please any long-time Nokia fan looking to replace an aging model. One thing that I particularly liked was the simple menu option allowing you to switch, if you so desired, between the new "home screen" layout shown in the product picture, with the rows containing shortcuts and notifications, and the "classic" layout, with the empty space and the d-pad shortcuts, good if you have a particular preference for one over the other. This thoughtfulness impressed me, and it represents everything that this phone is about- outstanding attention to detail, which is Nokia's great selling point. Such care is welcome these days, especially given the amount of controversy recently surrounding the permanent radical changes made to the appearance of Windows, by Microsoft, Nokia's new owner. The other thing that really stands out about this offering compared to the classic "brick" Nokia phones of old, is the screen. Whilst it will probably make a little bit of a dent in the battery life, it is larger, more vibrant, and of a higher resolution than the older, more basic models. Overall, the phone feels well planned, well designed, and well made. I have no doubt that it will provide many years of happy service, the same as my previous Nokia!

Ok but two serious design faults
This isn't a bad phone in most respects; battery life is long (nearly a week), camera is decent (considering what you pay), mp3 player is ok, general interface is intuitive. My main gripe with it is the main central button; it's too closely connected to the scrolling buttons so it is very easy to press it by mistake. This is really annoying (I end up sending texts by mistake and having to quickly cancel them) and I don't understand why Nokia couldn't prevent such a basic flaw. Also, why on earth does it not have a USB connection? Bluetooth - at least for me - is not reliable enough to transfer lots of data/music etc. So transferring photos, data etc. is a bit of a pain.Otherwise, a decent phone but those two points are serious failings as far as I am concerned.

Nokia 206 SIM Free Mobile Phone (Black)
This is a very practical, no-nonsense type of phone. It's also nice looking and has a nice weight and feel to it. The front-end is nicely designed and texting is facilitated by well-designed smooth buttons ideally spaced to each other. The battery lasts a considerable period of time, which is one of the key reasons I purchased it. The menu is very easy to understand and provides all the basic options required of a phone and much more. I purchased this for calls, texts and voice-mails, not for on-line usage (although it does provide that option). The battery charged up quite quickly and the signal is excellent. The lack of a USB port for easy transfer of pictures from the phone to computer is not an issue for me as I just want a quality mobile phone that serves its purpose; anyway, that can be achieved through Bluetooth technology. In summary, it's a lovely, well-designed, practical phone and has the quality that you would expect from Nokia.

Lovely phone
This is a great little phone - it has all the features of an i phone but with a lot leas hassle - it does email and internet and takes photos.I use it mainly for texting and phoning and its easy to use without needing to read the instructions too often. Its large enough to get a grip on, and small enough for easy carrying. One trouble is, the screen does keep freezing over - good for not pressing buttons in transit - but stops a quick response.Generally very happy with it.Tamara

Not dual sim as advertised
The phone supplied was advertised as having dual sim capability. The phone supplied does not and I have had no response from the supplier when this was queried. I have decided to keep the phone as I need it to replace one that has been lost but would suggest that you do not purchase from this supplier if you want the item advertised.
