This is an updated review since me and the seller encountered an unfortunate product shipment due to Amazon's fulfillment services. It was handled promptly/with compassion by the seller and here I am 24 hours later with my brand new replacement Dorisilk 500° 1" hair straightener. My driver (idk if its always the same person) is always great too! But anyway, this straightener is AMAZING. I usually do a 4 layer horizontal part from the back up to the crown and straighten in sections of those. This straightener-- i did my very first layer at the nape of my neck and it worked so well that I just let the other three layers down and did a quick "once over" all of it. Took like 3 minutes. Before and after pics are being posted. I used zero product and didnt even use conditioner in my last shower. My hair is beyoonnndd damaged and in need of a 5 inch trim and this straightener has made my hair look so sleek and healthy and somehow thicker? Absolutely worth the 30 bucks!!! 10/10 would recommend!

This is a nice product! I’m mixed with black and white and have long, curly hair. When I wet my hair it is a mess of curls when dry. In humidity it frizzes. I like to wear my hair straight sometimes and found this flat iron easy to use with lots of heat settings to choose from. It came packaged very nicely, instructions clear and precise, beautiful color. My hair straightens quickly using the 320 degree setting. It makes beautiful curls too as I like that for my ends and is easy to maneuver. It glides through my hair. What I found pleasantly different from my old flat iron is that it has protective sides on the end that can get real close to the scalp, particularly the back of ear area without burning.

This hair straightener works perfectly and heats up very fast. It leaves my hair smooth, shiny, and frizz-free without pulling or damaging it. It is easy to use and gives great results in just one pass. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Love it I’m so glad I didn’t pay for an expensive one when this works better! Quality as good as high end brands. I like that it came with a little kit. I also like that it goes up to 500 degrees because I need extra heat, yet hair still feels great. Buy it.

Heat settings I have 3 different flat irons in my bathroom and none of them compare to this one! I've used the flat iron once and I love the outcome. My hair is bouncy, straight, and has a great shine. The grays straightened just as smoothly as the rest of my hair. My hair is very coiled but fine (3c/4a). I started on 450 heat setting, after 1st pass I realized I didn't need it that high and reduced to 428 and that did the trick. I probably could have gone down a little more and still achieved these results. I really like this flat iron so far. I'll update if anything changes... but stop shopping and buy this dorisilk!

The best straightener I have ever used. It glides so smoothly through my hair. It heats up in less that 30 seconds. it is everything I have always wanted in a straightener that I never got. The buttons are located in a spot that you dont press when using the iron. The design is sleek, and easy to hold. As far as the life longevity of this straightener, that is yet to be determined but I have super high hopes. For the money, you cannot beat this product.

I really needing a straightener and this one is such a good option! I wish it was a little bigger but i still really like it. It keeps my hair straight for a while! Very easy to use as well

This was a Christmas gift for my wife 😃 let’s just say she has used it more in the last 3days then I’ve seen her use anything else she got for Christmas. Since she is the one that uses it I asked her her thoughts, easy to grip not to big not to small , product is very sturdy, works great weight is pretty good hair straightness it’s a 10/10 doesn’t leave frizzy
