Ganeen 22 Yard Iridescent Fabric Organza Fabric, 59" Wide, Light Purple

This fabric was used to make sheer privacy curtains for our bedroom. They are gorgeous! Easy to see out, and impossible to see in as long as it is darker inside than out. They do need careful ironing (use a tea towel under the iron. And dampen them with a spray bottle of water) as they come packaged very tightly. A little slippery to measure and sew but not horrible. And they came out beautifully!

It's exactly what I was hoping. The drape is lovely. The sheen is very iridescent. I bought the light purple and it has purple and pale green sheen. It also has blue and a bit of pink depending on the light. It's just as soft as the one at joanns but much less money per yard. I'll be making gowns with it for my 10 year wedding anniversary.

GORGEOUS

I used it as an extra shimmer layer under the sheer layer on my 3rd generation wedding dress. Frays easily, but I have a serger and used that to seal the fraying edges well. I would not recommend as an outer layer for clothes as it’s not super durable and doesn’t look expensive, but if you put the iridescent layer under a sheer layer the sparkle is lovely. It also does not take dye as it’s plastic (I tried polyester dye), but I was able to get a light blue ombré effect on the bottom using spray paint of all things. Happy with purchase, but keep in mind what you are using it for before buying.

great color and easy to work with

Made some fairy wings out of this material and it worked great. Good quality fabric.

Wonderful! It was perfect when used in a dance depicting water.
