Despite buying my usual size it was a cup too big so I returned it

I use these in my firepit as I'm not great and keeping a fire alight, once this is lit (simply with a match) the fire kept going all evening

Difficult to light, inconsistent to cook and only received 5 bags instead of the 6 which were meant to be in there.

I brought these as the first time I used this product they were brilliant. First purchase was from a store. This batch was a total waste of money. Bags did not want to light, very strange smell with tainted the food taste, coals did not get hot ( 8 bags needed for a three person BBQ ) , more dust than coal in the bags , even the next morning when cleaning my BBQ most of the coals were still whole and most of the paper from the bags had not even burned away. AVOID this product as plenty more on the market to choose from. Ps. I stored bags in a dry store so can not blame it on the damp.

East#y to light with minimum mess. Last well whilst cooking.

I do not like using briquettes at the best of times so was very disappointed to find that, although bagged as 'charcoal' , these were briquettes. They do not light easily, and I had to use ordinary lumpwood charcoal as kindling to get them going. The briquettes are the stone-like items in the picture. They do not burn well in calm weather as they need a strong air feed to keep them working. Quite honestly it would be cheaper to use Phurnacite. Very poor
