Anker MagGo Power Bank for Apple Watch, 10,000mAh 35W Max Portable Charger

Really useful fast charger. Works really well for phone and watcb. It’s my 2nd one and can’t fault it. Stylish compact and really useful as my phone drains really fast.

Excellent, very much Apple-like design and packaging. The unit is relatively small and not heavy. Everything seems and looks high quality. The edges of the unit are ribbed and makes it easy to hold. The display is super useful and really cool - like text and numbers appear from behind the surface. The cable seems solid to be used as a handle. I have not yet used the device as a charger, since I just received it - but I did test watch charging and it works fine. Just wanted to write my first impressions, since there aren't any reviews for this product just yet. First update There are some clever design choices - The charging cable/a.k.a "carry handle" has a magnet inside the USB C jack that makes this cable snap to its cradle. Nice. - The USB-C port on the side is used both for charging the unit and to charge external devices. Nice. No more stupid micro-usb cables to carry to charge the battery. The charging works great for both phone and watch. The display gives you all kinds of useful info. The unit is not heavy or large to carry in a backpack. Maybe a bit too bulky to carry in your trouser pocket (depending on your trousers 😀) but should be fine for coat, jacket, or handbag.

Really nice but of kit. First one ordered did not arrive but Amazon made a refund. I decided to try again and I am glad I did. It is nice and compact, ideal for travel and very simple to use.

I loved this charger as an Apple Watch and iPhone owner. nice and portable, worked find then just stopped less that a year later. shows 100% charge and does nothing.

It’s great, I use it a lot, it lasts a long time, it’s a bit bulky but it’s not as heavy as other portable charges so it’s fine. The built in cable is useful because I’ve got a USB C charging port on my phone and my watch is obv an Apple Watch so most of the time I wouldn’t need an extra cable it’s just this one block.

This Anker power bank has to be one of the best charging power banks I have had. Not only does it look very smart and professional, but the design is brilliant. It has a flip up MagSafe so you can connect the watch upright and also it has a digital display saying what percentage you have left on the power bank and also the charging rate it is being charged at. You can also use it flat so you don’t have to flip up the MagSafe plus you can charge your AirPods from it as well. Also very quick in charging my Apple Watch 10 & could probably charge my watch 3 times with one charge from the power bank at full. It also has a USB-C charging cable attached to it which is in a loop so that you can easily carry it which is very handy. It is small but slightly heavy but the build quality is superb! I would 100% recommend this product as I am very very happy with it so far.

Świetnym rozwiązaniem jest, jak to w Ankerze, wyświetlacz który prezentuje poziom naładowania powerbanka z dokładnością do jednej setnej procenta (przy jego ładowaniu) i oczywiście moc ładowania na wyjściach w tym na MagSafe do Apple Watcha (w tym przypadku do jednej dziesiątej wata).

UPDATE: Anker reached out with top tier customer support. They helped me troubleshoot my slow charging speeds and it’s just that the watch itself is designed to charge at different rates depending on several different factors. They explained it very clearly and in a helpful way and it was enough for me to just keep using it in good faith. I can safely say this thing works pretty well especially by comparing it to other chargers. I tried to use other watch chargers with a wattage read and found they were the same as well with slow charging speeds. After taking this on multiple trips, it will definitely charge your watch in a pinch. I may have just had some errors in my first overnight charge but after putting it through its paces, I went a full 5 days just using this to charge my watch and even my phone once or twice and it saved me packing a two cables or fighting someone for an outlet. Is this worth the full price tag? I’m not exactly sure. I think I found my value out of it. Basically saves you from packing or buying a watch and usb c cable. Plus it has enough capacity to charge my watch several times over. Really no more complaints! Okay so two things here. I bought the other battery which has the same built in cable, but features a wall outlet plug in. Super useful when travelling. No fussing with a power brick or worrying about forgetting it plugged into the hotel wall, but whatever. Then I saw this. I was annoyed because if I had seen this one that has a watch charger built in, I would've scooped this up in a heartbeat! Against my better judgment, I bought this one too and gifted the other charger to my girlfriend. Sadly I did realize that this battery bank doesn't have a wall outlet charger. Not really this thing's fault, it doesn't advertise that it does, but man I just saw the same style battery and thought it did. Bummer. Not a big deal. What IS a big deal is that this thing comes with little circle stickers for you to put on the watch charge to help "stabilize" it. Usually a red flag when a product has a "fix" for an issue, but whatever. I love Anker products. I apply the sticker and plug my phone in. The phone charges at about 20w which I can see because of the neat little digital readout. Super cool. I have one of those cables that reads out the wattage and can confirm, I plugged it in to charge at 30w, battery confirms 30w, and even better yet, it gives an estimate to the battery being full. Very neat! Now for the terrible part. I popped my watch onto the charger....it charges at .8w. That's right. Not the max 5w, not 2w, not even 1w, just .8w. To give you an idea of how "fast" it charges, I put my watch on the charger at around 80%, went to sleep, woke up about 6 hours later to a 94% charged watch. Now I figured, maybe it's because my watch is nearly fully charged. Today I put my watch on there at 10%. Still .8w. I moved it around for a bit and I got up to 2w. Then it'd drop back down to .8w. I took the sticker off, no change, applied a new one, same result. Despite having some cool features, this is a return for me and off to find a replacement!
