Marfa Modern: Artistic Interiors of the West Texas High Desert

Yet another book on minimalist interiors. Similar to a dozen other books on the subject, except the houses are in West Texas. Nothing new, nothing special, and nothing original.

We are in the process of designing a house to build, so I bought this book for myself as an early Christmas present. It arrived about 10 minutes ago and I just flipped through all the pages quickly and already have about 3 ideas I want to incorporate into our new house. I've never been to Marfa but the style of the houses in this boom really speak to me. Beautiful photos and TONS of inspiration. A great book for anyone who loves design, architecture, Marfa or the high desert lifestyle.

Beautiful photo and print quality, good read. It lays flat perfectly (a pet peeve of mine when books like this do not lay flat on their own--you know who you are!). Rad houses if you're into the desert modern, minimalist style of Marfa. It's a nice mix, none of the homes featured are too much the same or repetitive like some other home books. Very eclectic and unique spaces. Love it.

Gave this to my son in law for Christmas. He is an artist and Has been to Marfa.

An awesome book on the unique interiors of homes of Marfa and the surrounding areas. Clean aesthetics with an open and industrial feel inside while highlighting the vast expanse of light and space outside. A new design favorite of mine!
