Was looking to replace my current smartwatch which was no longer supported by a well known brand....criminal after 5 years not to be supported and the watch cost £350. So I was determined not to buy a high street brand again. Did my research and found this T-REX high on the recommendation list. I have had it nearly a week and I am very impressed. For £230 you get a very nice and sturdy watch that looks good and not too bulky. In my opinion nearly all your fitness data is gathered by your heart beat or bpm. I measured the watch against a professional heart rate monitor and I can honestly say the watch was within +/- 2bpm from a range of 55 to 170bpm, running or cycling, very impressive so I know my workout data will be accurate. Using the app called Zepp syncs with the watch and also my training app called TrainingPeaks to record all my data as I am a keen cyclist I also do some running. Again impressed with the Zepp App, easy to use and works well. I have had my watch on now for 5 days, used GPS, heart rate monitor is on all the time, screen comes on with a flick of the wrist (I wear it in bed) and I still have over 70% battery life...I am impressed. The watch is packed with widgets you can use and change the watch interface, there are many to choose from but there could have been a lot more in my opinion but as I use the old fashioned LCD style I am very happy. Charging the watch is easy as it comes with a USB powered magnetic charger. A slight design fault is if you use the wrist band that comes with the watch you have to lie the watch on its side to charge it. No harm done. What was a nice feature is that they included adaptors so you can change the strap to any 22mm width strap which I have done with a brown leather strap which I can now charge the watch lying flat. Notifications arrive onto the watch very fast from my mobile and the screen quality is very good. I am discovering new things with it as the instructions are sparse but I think that is a good thing as you can explore yourself as you can't delete anything. I was advised to buy a much dearer watch as I wanted to do interval running training which times each interval, well guess what this watch has interval training and worked a charm last night and with multipoint GPS tracking the data is very accurate.This watch gets a clear 5 stars and all the reviews about it were right, excellent value for money and very happy with the purchase, you know the one....the one that puts a smile on your face knowing you made the right decision.

I’ve been using the Amazfit T-Rex 3 for a while now and I’m seriously impressed. The battery life is unreal — I barely have to think about charging it — and it’s handled everything from gym sessions to long walks without any issues. The build feels really solid and durable, and the screen is bright and easy to read even outdoors. It’s packed with features but still simple to use, which I love. For the price, it genuinely feels like you’re getting way more than you paid for. Definitely one of the best fitness watches I’ve owned!

Don’t write many reviews but I’m really impressed with this watch. I previously had an Apple Watch but lost it and didn’t want to pay for an overly expensive watch. After doing a lot of research I opted for the T-Rex 3 which was on offer. Was dubious about the size as I have small wrists and hands and upon opening the well packaged and presented box it did seem big. However, once on my wrist the size didn’t seem to matter anymore. It is remarkably light and very comfortable to wear. The strap has enough notches for any sized wrist and they’re close together so you can get the tightness just right. I have slept with it on and you forget it’s there. The screen is large and vibrant and setup is very simple. There are a vast number of features and they all work very well and nothing appears too complicated. There are plenty of settings to play with and lots of free watch faces to choose from and you can customise what your watch displays. Overall I am hugely impressed with this watch. Has the feel of a more expensive watch, loads of features that work well and a brilliant battery life.

Great watch!! So I needed a new watch for work as my old Casio G shock died after a few years. As I work as an electrical engineer on the underground power network, I needed a strong watch that was durable in outdoor conditions. I was tempted to buy another Casio G shock but liked the idea of a smart watch but didn’t like the idea of needing to charge it every 1 or 2 days and thought they were a little delicate for what I need it for. After some research I decided to go for the Amazfit T rex 3 and wasn’t disappointed! Pros; Battery life, with daily use battery lasts over 20 days! Sturdy, very well built, don’t feel nervous about using it in extreme conditions, I brought a glass screen protector just for some extra protection Very easy to use and fully of features, very quick and responsive. Cons; Size, it’s not a slim watch, it’s quite chunky which for my I don’t mind as I can live with that trade off for the extra strong built quality and plenty of battery life but just bare in mind it may be a bit too thick to slide under most long sleeves. Connectivity, it’s not laggy at all but there has been a few instances where I’ve missed notifications and the watch has lost connectivity with my phone so I’ve had to open the app and sync it and it starts working again. It’s only happened a few times so not a big deal. Too many features, this can be a pro and con but I find it packed with that many features it can sometimes feel overwhelming and most of the apps and features you’ll hardly use or they don’t work very well. Such as the work out app, it’s great if you’re going for a run but if you’re having a gym workout, the app doesn’t accurately measure reps and most the time you want to have a workout and just get on with it rather then fiddling with your watch the whole time. Overall I’d recommend it, great value for money even though I missed out on the Black Friday deal and paid £253, at £210 on black Friday it’s a no brainer, you’d easily pay a lot more for a garmin equivalent.

So far so good.... A little background info - I've come from a Garmin Vivoactive 3 which I have had for the last 7 years. I've ran marathons with it, walked, climbed, cycled and swam with it and it's been faultless. However, this last week it finally died. So, I started looking at replacements. I'd love a Fenix 7 or even an 8 but I just wasn't paying the price. I watched the only review that was worth watching on the popular video streaming site and decided to take the plunge on this, the T-Rex 3. I'll be honest and say it was a punt, but I knew if it was pants amazon would refund me with their great customer service. I received it 2 days ago and so far couldn't be happier. Easy to set up out of the box, very simple process. The user interface, which is usually lacking with Chinese products over the big brands is clean, user friendly and informative. I like it! The same with the app. The watch itself feels well built, the screen is fantastic and coming from a watch with no real buttons, I actually prefer them, rather than everything being touch screen. I get a little update every morning on where my body is at, how good my sleep was and if you've set it up, the days goal in terms of training. GPS seemed reliable, quick to connect and having looked at the mapping post run, appears accurate. 2 days in with most things turned on, I'm at 90% battery. Some things to note; Nfc pay is available, however, you have to download a third party bank app called curve. You then add your debit card (in my case first direct) to curve. You then pay via curve which then in turn charges your bank card. Strange, slightly pointless additional step but hey if it works, I don't care. Curve lite with no physical card is all free to use. Music - the only thing I miss is the ability to go forward or back a few tracks using the watch instead of having to get my phone out. Not sure if I've missed how to do this but it doesn't seem to be an option. I can live with that though to save £750+. It took me a little while to get used to wearing it. It's bigger than my vivoactive. Much bigger. I'd say if you have small or petite wrists, you will probably find it a bit on the large side. The heart rate sensor on the back also doesn't sit completely flush with the back, so I noticed it pushing on my arm for the first day or so. Its sightly raised. Not to the point of being uncomfortable, but noticeable. I think this is starting to settle down and either I'm getting used to it, or the strap is starting to give slightly so it's less obvious. Minor, but I thought I'd mention it. I've explored the app a little, loads of watch faces and settings to mess with, all pretty standard stuff. So, in summary, based on 2 days of limited use, I'm happy. Worth the £259 I paid with a voucher from amazon. It's certainly an upgrade from my 7 year old vivoactive, how it compares to a fenix 7 or 8 I'm not sure, having never had one, but I'd rather have the extra £700-800 in my pocket to spend on something else! I'll update if anything new comes to light :)

I had problems with the Plastic strap. I had an allergic reaction to the strap, it caused blistering and burns on my wrist. fair due to amazon, when i went to return it they offered me a reduction in price so that i could replace the strap and keep the watch as it is very impressive and useful. I was going to return it but this sensible offer by them was a good resolution and saved amazon money and i kept the watch. apps excellent, support good display very good and overall, for a fitness and health reporting watch quite accurate and a good benchmark for day-to-day use and as an aid to my health and fitness.

Coming from a Fitbit Sense this is a massive step up. There are so many workout presents. For strength training it can measure your reps and you can log weights and advise you on technique - things like speed decay, consistency, rhythm. For hikes it lets you load routes and use an interactive map to find your way. For running it logs all your runs and unlike Fitbit it tells you your best times for different distances as well as PBs for other things - no need for Strava or any other service. It also logs everything without needing a phone and even let's you load music and pair headphones to the watch. Connectivity been rock solid, no issues or needing to restart anything, unlike my Fitbit that would sometimes lose connection for no reason. Battery lasts for many days, I have adjusted certain settings like heart rate sampling time to be faster than default but I still get 15 days approx from it. Plenty of watch face options both free and paid. Screen is nice and bright in full sun and I love that everything can be done with the buttons not just with touch. Overall highly recommend for the price - well worth it.

I had amazfit T rex first model and it lasted 9 years , and now after I got T rex 3 I am very pleased with what it offers

Great watch. So smooth and battery lasts atleast 10 days with extensive use. Good value for 270 Euros (2700 sek). Easy to change the strap using the tools provided ( any 22 mm strap will work). Excellent app, and watch faces. So stylish looking.
